The agriturismo

Farmhouse immersed in the beautiful scenery where the Sardinian deer lives in freedom , in the territory of Arbus and 10 minutes drive from the beautiful coast of Arbus, with its Dune of Piscinas .
The wild nature around the structure offers striking views , from sea to mountains, and preserves a uniqueheritage of fauna and flora
.

The accommodation

The structure, welcoming and with well-kept interiors and usable by the disabled, has 11 rooms, 9 of which with private bathroom and 2 with shared bathroom.

Particular attention is paid to the kitchen . The dishes that guests can taste are prepared in the respect of the Sardinian tradition
and with fresh ingredients strictly produced in the farm.

The farm has also a breeding of more than 400 goats, which roam wild in the surrounding countryside and that provide some of the ingredients for the recipes of the farm, such as fresh milk, meat, ricotta cheese still warm, fresh
and spicy cheeses, accompanied, depending on the season, by wild products such as mushrooms, asparagus, chicory, thistles, and other genuine products such as pasta strictly homemade every day.

Activities and surrounding

From the agriturismo you can enjoy a splendid view. The beach of Piscinas is in fact well visible and you can even see the deer going for the hills, maybe while you are tasting one of the famous dishes prepared with care by the owner of the structure.

For those who love cooking, it is also possible to observe the preparation of typical and historical Sardinian dishes, collaborating in the making of cheese and ricotta.

Moreover, it is possible to visit the farm, and for those who are interested to know stories, legends and rituals related to the main activity that has accompanied this land for centuries, which is sheep farming.

Guests can also participate in excursions to Mount Arcuentu (over 700 meters) and visit the whole geo-mineral park Ingurtosu -Montevecchio, the columnar Basalts of Guspini , or visit the museum of the knife of Arbus. The beautiful beaches of the Arburese coast are also worth a visit.

Pleased to meet you, I am Angela and I am 65 years old.
I have been managing Oasi del Cervo since 2001 along with my partner.
As well as we cook for the guests, we take care of the crops, we rear the animals.
It was a desire to to pursue a passion which led me to run an agriturismo.
Our guests' favourite thing about Oasi del Cervo is the warm family welcome.
