The agriturismo

The farm spreads over an area of approximately 300 hectares, between 300 and 700 metres altitude and, as well as cultivating vines and olive trees, also rears a large herd of Chianina cattle. Guests are accommodated in renovated farmhouses which mostly date back to the nineteenth century, with a range of features and in a variety of sizes to meet all needs. 

The accommodation

The fully independent houses each have their own outdoor space and, for week long stays in medium and high season, also come with use of the swimming pool.


Podernuovo is completely isolated (2 km from San Casciano dei Bagni) and the annex is accessible to disabled guests. Ficonacce comprises of 2 apartments with a shared swimming pool and laundry. Casa Didde is a small nucleus made up of two farmhouses located near to the town of Palazzone. Both come with access to a 6x12 m swimming pool at the nearby Casa Vigna.

Activities and surrounding

At San Casciano dei Bagni there are open-access warm water springs and a popular spa centre. The houses are conveniently located for centres of historic and artistic interest like Chiusi, Pienza, Montepulciano, Città della Pieve, Orvieto and cities such as Florence (140 km), Siena (100 km) Rome (150 km) and Perugia (60 km). In the surrounding area you can also enjoy horse riding or visit the farm’s wine cellar.

We stayed in the vineyard house, which is the most out of the way.
It was simply perfect. Ideal for 3 (one teenager), everything was designed to simplify the stay. The welcome was exceptional.

Hi, my name is Serena and I am 67 years old.
I have been working here for 50 years with my family.
As well as we welcome the guests, we rear the animals.
It was a desire to to keep the family business alive which led me to run an agriturismo.
