The agriturismo
In a wonderful, scenic location, with views of Montferrat, the agriturismo offers welcoming accommodation, tastefully and traditionally furnished, a peaceful, friendly place where you can live in harmony with nature, discovering all the region’s charm and flavours in a relaxed, warm and cosy setting.
This small but hardworking farm has grown vines and hazelnut trees for generations, and these remain the principal crops today. The restaurant and agriturismo were added in 2004. You can enjoy delicious, high quality cuisine, the coming together of the wholesome produce and robust flavours of Piedmont tradition.
The accommodation
Alle Tre Colline offers agriturismo accommodation in 5 simply furnished rooms, all with bathrooms, independent heating, free Wi-Fi and wholesome homemade cuisine. In the morning, breakfast is the ideal opportunity to enjoy wholesome typical produce, prepared by the owner: exquisite jams, warm brioche, tea, coffee and fresh milk, served in the elegant lounge with large windows overlooking the hills and the vines.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo is ideal for walking and cycling, for excursions along the region’s pathways and for exploring the local historic and cultural attractions. Albugnano is famous as the home of Vezzolano Abbey, a Gothic-Romanesque artistic treasure founded at the end of the XI century. Other points of interest includethe ancient San Pietro Romanesque church and cemetery, the Motta Belvedere and the permanent exhibition of Romanesque Craftsmanship.
Educational workshops demonstrate the transformation of hazelnuts into various products, available for sale. School children can enjoy days dedicated to traditional and modern farming techniques. You can also tour the farm’s vines and hazelnut groves, where particular attention is paid to managing the hill soil, in order to limit surface erosion. The farm’s wine cellar and hazelnut processing facility are the ideal place to taste and purchase wine and typically local items, exclusively produced.

We enjoyed the stay (only 1 night). We took a swim in the infinity pool with a spectacular view, a walking tour to the cloister, a delicious diner cooked by Cristina with their own nice wines. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. Recommendable.
