The ‘Podere La Giuda’ agriturismo offers independent apartments, completely renovated and furnished, on the rolling hills of Siena’s Val di Chiana, in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
Half board is available on request, prepared with farm produce. Typical meals and special menus for children and vegetarians are offered. The farm produces Chianti Classico DOCG and organic extra virgin olive oil.

The agriturismo consists of three separate apartments, all on the ground floor.
The apartments are equipped with independent heating, and are furnished in a simple Tuscan, country style. Bed and bath linen is provided. The kitchens are equipped with an oven and hob, a fridge, kettle, microwave oven, American coffee maker, cooking utensils and tableware.
Outside each apartment, there is a private area with a table for outdoor dining and deckchairs.
Gallo is a ground floor large studio apartment with its own entrance. There is a large living room with a kitchenette, a double bed, and a bathroom. This apartment has disability access bathroom facilities. The view from the apartment looks out over of the countryside and swimming pool.
Mucca is a ground floor apartment with its own entrance. There is a large living room with a kitchenette, a double bedroom, and a bathroom. The view from the apartment looks out over of the countryside and swimming pool.
Sole is a ground floor apartment with its own entrance. There is a large living room with a kitchenette, two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and a second bedroom with one double bed and one single bed, as well as a bathroom. The view from the apartment looks out over of the countryside and swimming pool.
The accommodation has a swimming pool, spa, table tennis, table football and games for children. It is located near a wood where guests can go walking and jogging. Within easy reach of Siena, Arezzo, Perugia and Lake Trasimeno. Nearby, there are riding stables, a golf course, the Valdichiana outlet village and many shopping centres.
Podere La Giuda offers daily and weekly cooking classes,Giorgia, has a European diploma of cooking from Arezzo. She will share the many tips, tricks and secrets to preparing typical Tuscan and Italian dishes, which you will then be able to cook at home for your friends and relatives.
Every lesson explains how to prepare a five-course traditional meal. You will explore the main aspects of Italian and Tuscan cooking and culture. You will prepare fresh pastas, sauces, meat courses, side orders and desserts. The produce used in creating the dishes come from the farm itself and the surrounding area and thus the menu will change with the season. At the end of each lesson the dishes created are shared in a communal dinner.
The weekly classes included tours of local farms. Guests will get to see how pecorino cheese and the famous Chianina steaks are produced. The culinary tour include visits to the sites where traditional olive oil and wines are produced, and guests can enjoy wine and extra virgin olive oil tastings from organic farms.
While the weekly class is packed with lessons and exciting experiences, there is also free time that you can use to exploring the surroundings: there are incredible landscapes to discover, and amazing cities and towns nearby such as Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Arezzo, and Perugia.
