In the heart of Tuscany, just 10 kilometers from Siena, on top of a hill in the Crete Senesi, the medieval village of Radi is at the center of a large organic farm, with its 18th-century villa bound by Italian Fine Arts.

The Borgo Storico di Radi offers:

6 Apartments in the stone farmhouse Cerreto, with garden furnished with gazebos, tables and chairs. Views of the Crete Senesi, the garden and the pool for common use adjacent to the Apartments. Gazebo reserved by the pool for each Holiday Apartment.

2 Suites in the large Corte del Borgo, adjacent to the Village Bar. Overlooks the Court and garden of the Bar Pool is 100 meters away.

Radi's Villa and historic garden host Weddings, Ceremonies, Events up to 200 people.

VACATIONS IN SAFETY

The apartments of Borgo di Radi are independent and with their own entrance, each equipped with its own kitchen and utensils. Wide spaces outside, where the gazebos in the garden are well spaced. The pool area has wooden gazebos with wide spacing. Sanitation procedures are adopted for the apartments.

The bar with lovely little garden serves breakfasts, aperitifs and lunches outdoors at tables at a safe distance. Agreements with two restaurants in the area, which bring meals directly to the apartments of the Farm.

Next to the Villa, the Fattoria welcomes guests in 5 independent and differently sized apartments , all elegantly furnished, with wooden-beam ceilings and terracotta-tiled floors. Each of them has a private outdoor area, furnished with gazebo, table, chairs and barbecue for exclusive use for relaxing and dining al fresco.

The other 2 accommodations (the Drago and Torre Suites), are located in the center of the Borgo di Radi and overlook a large and ancient Aia Mattonata.

Most of the houses are equipped with air conditioning.

 

At guests' disposal also the swimming pool, which enjoys a breathtaking view of the famous Crete Senesi, with the medieval towers of Siena in the background. Well-spaced wooden gazebos, with chairs and sun loungers, are at guests' disposal.

Close to the most famous art cities of Tuscany, such as Siena (10 Km), Florence (70 Km), Arezzo (70 Km), Pisa (140 Km), the Fattoria di Radi is a strategic starting point to visit all the Chianti Classico area (Siena and Florence), the Val d'Orcia and Pienza, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, the Montalcino area, the Maremma and all the other Tuscan towns rich in natural and artistic treasures!

 

Once a fortified castle in defence of Siena, the Village of Radi still seems to be immersed in distant times, of which two fortified watchtowers remain as evidence.

Over the centuries the owners have managed to preserve the charm of this place rich in history, keeping its authenticity unchanged, which makes a holiday at the Fattoria di Radi a unique experience in direct contact with the true Tuscan culture, nature and landscape.

 

The Village of Radi is the center of a large organic farm, which does not use pesticides and cares for sustainability, so the air is particularly pure and uncontaminated. Among the cultivated products: cereals, sunflowers, broad beans and oil and honey all strictly organic. Oil and honey are also on sale directly at the front desk of the farm.

 

In the farm there are 3 small lakes, one of which is a nature reserve. During walks you can observe wild animals such as: pheasants, squirrels, hares, roe deer, but also grazing livestock.

 

The romantic long white roads, the breathtaking views of the Crete Senesi, the views of timeless villages make the Villa and Fattoria di Radi an ideal place for unforgettable walks, bike rides or horseback riding (riding school 10 minutes away). In fact, Fattoria di Radi is located on the old Via Francigena and on the Eroica cycling route.

For sportsmen, we also recommend: the tennis court of Monteroni d'Arbia just 3 km away, the golf course of Bagnaia and the beauty farm Buddha 8 km away.

 

The area is full of small taverns and restaurants where typical Tuscan dishes are served and you can taste the best and most renowned wines, including the famous Brunello di Montalcino.
