Masseria Salamina, one of the first Masseria destinations in Puglia, is a place rich in history and fascination, in which ancient farming is combined with authentic hospitality. Battlements, dry stone walls, olive groves and the azure blue sea will make you to fall in love with this unique estate. In addition to the accommodation, it is possible to savour the exceptional dishes of traditional Puglian cuisine and to discover the superior class of authentic extra virgin olive oil which we produce.
Salamina is the name which the masseria has had since 1600, when the existing settlement was expanded and the olive trees were planted. The Masseria has undergone various renovations over the course of the centuries.
The chapel was reconstructed in 1792, being enlarged into the existing church. At the entrance of the masseria is an extensive reception where you will be welcomed directly by the family of de Miccolis Angelini.
The hosts offer the use of communal areas, both internal and external, a bar service, studio with a computer with internet access, television, tourist information, books and wi-fi zone. Comfortably furnished to meet the needs of the modern traveller, the rooms have beendesigned in keeping with the style of the different eras and with the characteristics of the original rooms.
