The agriturismo
Borgo Poneta is an old farmhouse immersed in the countryside between Siena and Florence, on the gentle hills of Chianti overlooking San Gimignano.
The farmhouse, together with the barns and granaries, has been restored according to the most classic Tuscan architectural canons with particular attention to the environment.
Possibility to walk among vineyards and olive groves and to taste Chianti wine and extra virgin olive oil of own production.
The accommodation
The farmhouse consists of 6 apartments perfectly restored and equipped with all comforts, which keep intact the taste of a tradition of the past. Each window opens onto the surrounding countryside made of rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves.
At guests' disposal a swimming pool (7 x 14 m) immersed in the green of an olive grove in a panoramic position and equipped with umbrellas, deckchairs and sunbeds. Near the pool, immersed in a quiet oasis, there is a playground for children that can be played safely and equipped with two benches for parents.
Barbecue and/or wood-burning oven on request for outdoor banquets.
