The agriturismo
The farm, located in the heart of the high Maremma Toscana, extends for about 21 hectares, between the typical coastal strip of Maremma and the hinterland of the Metalliferous Hills.
It is immersed in the green of a charming landscape dominated by woods and Mediterranean maquis and is mainly cultivated with olive groves with over a hundred years old plants.
In the farm there are five main buildings furnished and renovated with typical Tuscan materials (terracotta and travertine). Some are dedicated to hospitality for those who want to spend a holiday in Maremma.
The accommodation
The** Villetta 1** is the largest, it is on two floors: the upper floor with direct access to a spacious garden, and in which is located a bright living area with kitchen in masonry in typical Tuscan style, bathroom and living room overlooking the porch. On the lower floor there are three large double rooms, one with a bright window and one with a higher skylight. All three are furnished in poor art style and benefit from the convenient service of a second bathroom on the same floor below with useful shower room.
The **Villetta 2** has a kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a large living room with direct access to a loggia that allows you to have meals outdoors, and an adjacent square where you can relax and sunbathe.
Activities and surrounding
The structure has agreements with parks, spas in the area and bathing establishments.
It is located halfway between sea and hills, 5 km from Massa Marittima, 13 km from Follonica and 4 km from Lake Accesa.
The farm, which is part of the tourist itinerary Le Strade del Vino, is also a starting point for visits to the Etruscan areas of Vetulonia, Populonia, Roselle, easily reachable by car, is about an hour away from the most famous cities of art such as Siena, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano and can be the base for short trips to the islands of the Tuscan archipelago such as Elba, Capraia, Giglio and Pianosa.
