The agriturismo

The Altavia agricultural company extends over an area of 5 hectares of which 3 are vineyards at approximately 400 meters above sea level, close to the Maritime Alps and close to the French border.

It is a young company that launched a challenge to the territory when planting the new vineyards. In addition to Rossese and Vermentino (typical vines of our area), the qualities of the grapes diversify. The gaze is turned towards neighboring France: this is why we planted Syrah.

We do not provide breakfast and catering services but the Casali are equipped with a do-it-yourself kitchen

The accommodation

In an olive grove surrounded by vineyards, the farmhouse offers guests two beautiful stone farmhouses. Inside the furnishings are simple but elegant, as important as the materials used. Wooden floors and bleached chestnut ceilings combine with stone and burnished iron.

Each farmhouse has 2 double bedrooms on the first floor and 1 quadruple bedroom with double bed and a bunk bed with a length of cm. 180x80;   a private garden with an outdoor table for lunch and the possibility of cooking with a stone barbecue.
Between the two farmhouses there is a panoramic swimming pool, equipped with umbrellas, deckchairs and comfortable garden mattresses.

In the equipped kitchen present in each of the two farmhouses it is possible to prepare do-it-yourself breakfasts and dinners as the Altavia company does not provide the catering service.

Linen and towels are provided weekly.

Activities and surrounding

Guests can use mountain bikes, made available by the farm, to travel the 400 km hiking itinerary that crosses this territory: Dolceacqua is an area much loved by "bikers".

The farmhouse organizes visits to the cellar and guests can request a tasting (for a fee) with the company's wines accompanied by local finger food.

Sanremo, Monaco (F), Nice and the French Riviera can be reached within a few kilometers.
