The agriturismo
The farmhouse is located in the middle of a twelve-hectare plot of land cultivated with vineyards olive groves and wheat fields. Located in Città Sant'Angelo (listed among "The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy"), it offers a charming and at the same time strategic location in the Abruzzo countryside, 6 km. from the sea and an hour's drive from the mountains of Gran Sasso d'Italia and the Abruzzo National Park.
The simple but elegant surroundings and the 360-degree view of the entire valley welcome guests for healthy and completely relaxing stays.
The accommodation
The facility provides accommodation for guests in 5 rooms and one apartment, all with their own bathrooms. The Aristotle room can accommodate a 3rd bed while the Plato and Democritus rooms can accommodate up to 4 people without any loss of comfort.
The Socrates,Aristotle and Plato lodgings are located on the 1st floor of the building and overlook a large terrace where breakfast can possibly be eaten, with a view that sweeps from Gran Sasso to the Adriatic Sea, while the Democritus,Anaximenes and Parmenides lodgings are located on the ground floor and overlook the porch and garden.
The cuisine stems from the experience of hospitality and good eating that the family has always made relatives and friends from all over the world appreciate, so the tasty and refined dishes are prepared and enjoyed in a family atmosphere.
Much of the food is prepared with products grown directly on the farm's land, guaranteeing quality and freshness.
Activities and surrounding
The facility is located at the center of a farm that extends a total of about 12 hectares, cultivated mainly with Montepulciano d'Abruzzo D.O.C. vineyards,olive grove and arable land, and also includes a wooded area close to the Piomba stream, an ideal habitat for various animal species.

Città Sant'Angelo (one of Italy's Most Beautiful Villages) - There are numerous historical documents testifying that the town's roots go back to Roman times, and even today there are places in its historic center where time seems to have stood still. Its geographic location makes it easy to reach other centers of considerable historical and cultural interest, such as Loreto Aprutino, Penne and Atri.
Just 6 km away is the Adriatic coastline, with the renowned beaches of Pescara, Montesilvano, Silvi Marina, Pineto, Roseto degli Abruzzi, etc. South of Pescara, from Ortona onward, one can visit the wonderful coastline of the "Trabocchi" (fishing piles and now also renowned fish restaurants), so beloved by Gabriele D'Annunzio.
And for those who love the tranquility and cool climate of the mountains, in a short time they can enjoy the beauty of the Gran Sasso d'Italia and the Abruzzo National Park.
