The agriturismo
In a perfectly restored 18th-century stone and wood building on a natural balcony at an altitude of 1,500 m (3,500 ft) overlooking the valleys of the Gran Paradiso Park, five cozy rooms have been created that offer wellness in an authentic mountain atmosphere.
The farm, which it is possible to visit, produces and sells goat cheese and cured meats.
The farm, which is accessed by paved Regional Road, is located in the mountains at 1500mslm 10km from the nearest town; in winter the road is always kept clear of snow.
The place is ideal for a vacation in absolute relaxation away from the crowds.
The accommodation
The rooms have independent heating, free Wi-Fi, and three of them (those located at the front of the building) also have panoramic balconies. All rooms have a private bathroom in the room.
Breakfast is included in the price.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo is just a scenic walk from Mont Fallère at 3061 m and its refuge at 2385 m, as well of the villages of Vetan, Vens and Saint-Nicolas.
For those who love winter sports, 20-40 minutes takes you to the pistes of Saint-Nicolas and those of the valleys of the Gran Paradiso Park, such as Rhêmes Notre-Dame, Cogne and Valsavarenche...
The region's castles, the Roman city of Aosta, the Pont d'Ael aqueduct-bridge and the Introd Wildlife Park are open all year round.
