Strada provinciale n.84 Rutigliano/Adelfia km. 8,700, 70018 Rutigliano (Bari) Code 072037B500021087
Accommodation consisting of a farmhouse dating back to the first half of the 19th century, recently renovated and located in the municipality of Rutigliano. Ideally located for day trips ranging from Valle d'Itria to Matera, passing through enchanting coastal towns such as Polignano a mare.
The sea is 7 km away and all the beaches of the southern Bari coastline can be reached.
It has a charging station for electric vehicles.
The farm dates back to the first half of the 19th century. It was initially used as a shelter for agricultural tools and animals, but soon became a classic Apulian farmhouse with adjoining manor house and some rooms for employees. The current owners, Dr. Giovanni Scianatico and his wife Candida, have followed the meticulous restoration and are directly responsible for running the farm and the farm.
The latter produces mainly table grapes, cherries, olives and wheat.
The rooms of the farmhouse are 21 and all equipped with bathroom, hairdryer, TV, intercom and furnished with period furniture.
There are five rooms on the first floor and four on the second floor, accessible only through the stairs.
The other 12 are suites by our newly built swimming pool, eight with natural stone shower and four with Jacuzzi.
The restaurant represents a reason of particular attention towards the guest: the farm holidays makes the service of half board offering every day always different menus. On Sundays and holidays you can also have lunch.
The cuisine is typical Apulian based on Mediterranean flavors. Breakfast is buffet style and offers homemade cakes, fruit and jams.
It is possible to buy extra-virgin olive oil, grape and strawberry jams, in oil and the "Lama San Giorgio" wine of particular value.
The Farm offers free to the hosts the access to the beach, sited in Torreamare, just 7 km from the farm, with the possibility of free car parking in a enclosed space. In the free time the hosts could go out for "naturalistic walks" in the S.Giorgio's Lama adjacent the farm.
In the route it's possible to visit the "Mediterranean grove", in which you will be able to observe all the Mediterranean Scrub's main arboreal species.
Adjacent to the grove, is possible to visit a small grinder of seventeenth century, evidence of the people who inhabited and worked along the Lama.
It's also possible to visit the farm and the characteristic table grapes cultivations in "Awnings".
Children could play in the supplied space and watch the small animals (goats, peacocks, rabbits ecc.) present in the yard near the games.
The farm is part of the Scianatico Farm, which produces table and wine grapes, olives, and cherries.

As well as we welcome the guests, we are responsible for communication, we take care of the crops.
It was a desire to to meet new and interesting people all the time which led me to run an agriturismo.
