The agritourism is anold farmhouse located in the heart of the Tavoliere delle Puglie, a short distance from the sea, restored by resorting to materials in use in the 1600s, so as to keep intact its charm and the signs of a history more than four centuries long and combine modern comforts with the ability to enjoy the simple and refined pleasures of rural life.
In a warm and welcoming environment, guests can combine a stay at the farmhouse with a visit to the Alberto Longo winery in Lucera and related tasting, knowledge of the estate vineyards and wine production, days on the Gargano on board a private sailboat equipped with every comfort and a food and wine itinerary with 0 km products.
The farmhouse has 5 accommodations (one suite and four rooms) and is furnished with antiques and Grottaglie ceramics in all rooms. The style of the farmhouse is written on the vaulted ceilings of the rooms, on the wooden beams of the attics, and in the large brick fireplace that dominates the dining room.
There is also a swimming pool for the exclusive use of farmhouse guests.
It is possible to sail along the Gargano coastline, reaching places such as Vieste, Peschici (with trabucchi on which you can dine), Rhodes and the Tremiti Islands with their crystal-clear sea, white cliffs and bays reachable only by sea.
The area is rich in artistic destinations (from rock churches to Romanesque cathedrals, from castles to Baroque treasures) and nature itineraries in the Foresta Umbra, the green lung of the Gargano National Park.
Easily reached are Lucera, with Roman amphitheater and the fortress of Frederick II; Troia, with its Apulian Romanesque cathedral and the house of statesman Antonio Calandra; the medieval villages of Pietramontecorvino and Alberona; and Monte S. Angelo, with church and cave carved into the rock.
