The agriturismo
The estate is located in Mattinata on the Gargano and is perfect for couples and families, a stone's throw from the sea and the town center, both 500 m away.
All around are expanses of centuries-old olive trees, typical dry stone walls and the relaxing nature of the Gargano National Park.
The location is ideal for outings to the natural beauty and art cities of the area.
The accommodation
Country farmhouse that has been devoted to tourist accommodation for 4 decades. Today it is a modern relais with accommodations equipped with all services.
It has five comfortable apartments, immersed in the green of centuries-old olive trees, in the Gargano National Park.
The owners personally manage the receptivity, the apartments are of different sizes and have living area with kitchenette and sofa bed, one or two double rooms, toilet with shower, dishes, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, Lcd TV , air conditioning, private access, veranda, Wi-Fi Internet.
Activities and surrounding
The Gargano is famous for its wonderful coastline with inlets, cliffs, stacks and sea caves. In Mattinata one can admire the Faraglioni of Baia delle Zagare.
Mattinata's 2 km beach is pebbled and has equipped establishments and free parts.
The nearby beaches of Mattinatella, Baia delle Zagare and Vignanotica are also of great interest.
In addition to the beauty of Mattinata, there are numerous excursions rich in art, history, natural beauty and religious traditions such as San Giovanni Rotondo, to visit the tomb of Blessed Father Pio of Pietrelcina, Monte Sant'Angelo where you can admire the place where St. Michael the Archangel appeared, the archaeological excavations of Manfredonia, the beautiful beaches of Vieste and Peschici continuing on to Rodi Garganico , Vico del Gargano and the thermal baths of Margherita di Savoia.
For nature lovers, not far away is the wonderful Foresta Umbra, ideal for a relaxing outing in contact with the plants, flowers, scents and animals of the Gargano National Park.
Also just a few kilometers from Mattinata are the famous trulli of Alberobello, the Castellana Caves and the Fasano Zoo. In addition, it is possible to make enchanting excursions by motorboat and visit the wonderful and fascinating sea caves or reach the Tremiti Islands.
