The agriturismo

Among fragrant wild plants, thyme, myrtle and blueberries, this farm, which dates back to 1890, is built around an imposing XV century military watchtower, surrounded by the typical red soil of this area of Salento.

The farm is on the border between the famous seaside town of Porto Cesareo and the characteristic commune of Nardò, in the province of Lecce. The agriturismo is just 700 m from the sea, and 1.5 km from the private resorts of the white sandy beaches on the Ionian Coast.

The accommodation

Guest accommodation is provided in 12 rooms featuring typical star vaults, unique open fireplaces, and fully refurbished former mangers and niches.

The restaurant, reserved for guests only, serves delicious, simple yet wholesome dishes, prepared using 0 mile ingredients and vegetables from the farm itself.

You’ll also find two swimming pools, one for children and one for adults, as well as a tennis court and horse riding facilities.

Activities and surrounding

On the farm itself, you can enjoy horse riding with qualified instructors available for children and adults, beginners and experienced riders.

The surrounding area features long sandy coastline interspersed with low cliffs, watchtowers, nature parks and hamlets offering culture and fine food and wine: Santa Maria al Bagno, the stunning coves of Porto Selvaggio, the baroque town of Galatina, Leverano with its famous wine cellars, and more.

You can enjoy boat trips and scuba diving, and Porto Cesareo offers a well-equipped port as well as all the facilities you need, with shops, restaurants, bars, boutiques and more.

Hello Erika I respond to your review .. for the bottle of water that you paid 1 euro for 2 liters of water on arrival I would like to apologize in this regard for not realizing that it would be a problem for you !!.it is important to emphasize, however, that the cleaning of the room was performed regularly apart from the first day that the dog barking prevented us from entering, service that instead was performed regularly in the following days in my presence, as communicated in the exchanges of mutual messages wats app. With regard to breakfast on a specific occasion due to a failure to rise a cake , the buffet was less rich (our usual offer includes : homemade cakes, fruit buffet in pieces ,fresh bread, cold cuts ,homemade cookies ,yogurt ,boiled eggs ..etc ), and also for this we apologize. The air conditioning on the other hand as specified in the quote is an extra service that as per your request you used only one day .
