The agriturismo
Masseria Spartivento, thanks to a careful recovery intervention, is a receptive place immersed in the Salento nature; a testimony of the typical rural architecture that guarantees a relaxing vacation.
The masseria, a building with typical Mediterranean colors made even more dazzling on sunny days, has been recovered and transformed into a small accommodation facility consisting of 5 rooms that overlook the garden of olive trees, bordered by a typical dry stone wall, while on the upper floor is the old manor house.
It is only 2 km from the beautiful beaches of Alimini and 8 km from the historic center of Otranto.
The accommodation
The 5 rooms, with typical star vaulted ceilings, equipped with independent services and fine finishes, are located on the ground floor with access to the olive garden where an excellent breakfast of homemade cakes, tarts and jams is served until late morning, served directly by the owners Arianna and Patrizia.
On a small private terrace you can enjoy a pleasant panorama while savoring an aperitif at sunset.
Particular attention has been paid to the choice of linen, which is also of typical handmade textile production of the Lower Salento, thus preferring natural fibers such as linen and cotton. Hospitality is taken care of directly by the owners Arianna and Patrizia.

The Masseria is located in an oasis of greenery a few kilometers from Otranto, a seaside town with beautiful beaches close to the channel that separates Italy from Albania.
Its location is strategic to reach the most interesting tourist, cultural and scenic sites such as the Alimini lakes surrounded by pine forests, the beautiful Baia dei Turchi reachable only on foot, the red lake of Orte and the Zinzulusa cave , located along the Castro-Santa Cesarea Terme coastline.
