The agriturismo
In the Otranto countryside, in the village of Frassanito, the agriturismo is located on a hill, from which you can enjoy beautiful views of the Alimini Lakes and the Mediterranean shrubland, as you soak up the scent of aromatic wild herbs, such as mint, oregano and sage.
The accommodation
The agriturismo was created with respect for Salento tradition: simple materials such as Lecce stone marry colourful coatings with cementine tiles, “chianche” flooring and dry stone walls. All apartments enjoy lake views and access to two furnished terraces. The apartments are light and airy, and include lounges with spacious, well-equipped kitchenettes and sofa beds, double bedrooms, bathrooms with large walk-in showers, air conditioning, TVs, Wi-Fi, hairdryers, bed linen and towels.
Prices include breakfast and access to the swimming pool.
Activities and surrounding
Jump on your bike and cycle to the sea, or explore the lakes and the surrounding countryside. The agriturismo’s staff will be happy to suggest routes and things to do and see. A canoe excursion on the Alimini Lakes is a wonderful experience, and just a few minutes from the agriturismo you'll find a riding centre for those who enjoy horseback excursions.
Otranto is a city rich in history and natural beauty: in addition to the cathedral with the relics of the martyrs, you can take a boat trip to discover beautiful bays. Just a short distance away, you’ll find Lecce, the capital of baroque Salento, and the hamlets of Salentinian Greece.
