The agritourism farm "I Giardini di Iti" is located in the Corigliano-Rossano urban area of Rossano in Contrada Iti(Cosenza).
An ancient farmhouse dating back to the 17th century, since then owned by the Cherubini Family, it has been renovated by the current owner, Baroness Bebè Cherubini, who runs it directly.
Surrounded by a farm of about 16 hectares, it produces organically grown citrus, olives and vegetables and houses a farmyard animal farm for the use of the farm's guests.
The inhabited part of the "Giardino di Iti" is accessed through a large portal that leads into the Spanish-style courtyard, onto which a number of rooms open onto a vast interior citrus and lawn garden , particularly cool in summer. In the same garden long tables gather guests for breakfast, lunches and dinners, and in the evening the lights hidden in the foliage of the trees, create a particularly atmospheric atmosphere. From the courtyard there is also access to another wing, where there are more rooms.
The farmhouse's 11 rooms have retained much of the original appearance of the old peasant dwellings from which they were made, with terracotta floors, a fireplace (working in winter) and wooden fixtures. They all have en-suite bathrooms, except for two that are adjoining and have shared bathrooms. Three are less spacious than the others, so from doubles they can become triples with the addition of a single bed. All other rooms can have two single beds in addition and can become quadruples.
The facility has a large dining room in which meals are served, most of which are based on traditional local cuisine.
The beaches and waters of the Ionian Sea are only 3 kilometers away, and they await invitingly for a nice swim or sunbathing.
There are numerous equipped lidos in the area (bathing establishments, swimming pools, sports facilities, aquaparks, and so on).
Many opportunities to visit splendid naturalistic corners(the Serre, Sila, Pollino).
The richness of art and culture of many nearby centers,(Sibari, was one of the most flourishing colonies of Magna Graecia, with its Archaeological Park, approx. 25 km. away),(Crotone, the ancient Magna Graecia city of Pythagoras, approx. 80 km. away) complete the farm's offer.
