The agriturismo

An farm holidays at the heart of the Magna Grecia, in the Kaulon Archaeology Park, near the Punta Stilo lighthouse, which is still in operation today.

Since 2003, the farm has been growing exclusively organic produce.

 

Guests can enjoy pleasant strolls, take part in harvesting and transforming the farm’s produce, take a Calabrian cookery class, taste typical produce or visit the educational farm (agricultural/archaeological tour and workshop).

The accommodation

The farm holidays offers 11 apartments.
Main house (first floor):2 mini-apartments in terracotta and wood with lounge areas (kitchenettes and sofa beds) and furniture made by local master craftsmen.

The old sheep fold:6 rooms with wood and wrought iron furnishings, exposed beams, stone walls and private gardens.On the first floor, a suite with four poster bed and whirlpool.

Villa:on the first floor, 3 rooms with wooden furnishings, shower or whirlpool and balconies.  Scenic location with views of the lighthouse.On the ground floor you’ll find a kitchen for preparing breakfast, a relaxation room with sea views and, outside, the garden.

 

The wine cellar is home to the "Locanda Cocintum":a room with open fireplace, raw stone counter, ceiling with exposed trusses and two large barrels outside on the patio.The ideal space for breakfast, wine tasting and enjoying typical cuisine (grilled meats and Ionian sea fish).

The kitchen uses mainly seasonal produce from the farm itself or other local producers (zero mile).
