The agriturismo

Farm and tourist facility run by the Nunziata family who created the agriturismo in harmony with features of the site and the house, a place where one can sample the farm's products.

In the heart of the Sorrentine Peninsula, surrounded by the typical citrus groves, the farm house is part of a complex dating from the 1500s, its adjacent ancient watchtower once used to subvert Saracen attacks from the sea.

The accommodation

The facility offers 7 double rooms, three with a scenic view of the Gulf of Naples, one a mini-suite with private terrace and view of Capri. Here the guests can also sample the specialties of the house, prepared by the owners using home-grown products and home-made pasta.

 

The garden of this agriturismo is the ideal place to come into contact with country life and enjoy the summer days. On the farm one can purchase organic products such as lemon marmalade, limoncello (a lemon liqueur), honey and oil.

Activities and surrounding

The Sorrentine Peninsula offers all sorts of activities, from total relaxation to shopping, nature excursions and museum tours.

Recommended excursions:

- to Capri, with typical boat from the Lobra marina at Massa Lubrense, circle the island, take an on-land excursion, get in some swimming and a stop at the Blue Grotto;
- to the excavations of Pompeii just 20 km away by public transportation or car;
- to the Amalfi coast;
- to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Vietri and Salerno, one of the cleanest, most livable towns in the Campania Region of Italy. For such trips, the ideal thing is to rent a scooter at the farm;
- within the marine park of Punta Campanella and, obviously Naples.
