The farm is located at the foot of the Lattari mountains, in the countryside, including ancient vines planted with pergolas on terraces in the embankment that give life to the wine Doc "Costa d'Amalfi Basileo", of excellent quality and unique taste, produced and bottled by the Farm Holiday at the origin. The farm offers a catering based, mainly, on typical Mediterranean dishes with use of local and traditional products. The accommodation consists of rooms and apartments. Inside the Farm, is allocated a agricamping containing pitches for tents and sites for caravans and camper.The Farm guarantees a safe stay for guests by strictly applying local and national security protocols in the fight against and prevention of COVID-19..
The accommodation
The Farm Holiday is situated at the foot of Lattari mountains in lush green countryside, nestled amongst walnut groves and vineyards, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, just 7 kilometres from the sea and six kilometres from the mountains. a short way from Pompei, Capri, Sorrento, Paestum and Royal Palace of Caserta. The Farm is in the centre of Tramonti (UNESCO Patrimony), a small town, 400 metres high above sea level boasting panoramic views. Tramonti is the birthplace of Mario Cuomo's mother, three times Governor of the State of New York and Andrew Cuomo's grandmother, up till now Governor of the same State. The cold and strong wind which blows from the mountains to the seawards, called by the mariners from all over the world "Tramontana" takes its name from Tramonti. The Farm Holiday accomodation is deal for both families and groups. Wine DOC "Costa d'Amalfi Basileo" produced and bottled at the origin, tastes good. Typical mediterranean dishes ( UNESCO Immaterial Patrimony) are prepared using local and organic produce. Wine Doc "Costa d'Amalfi"and a wonderful array of homemade liqueurs including Limoncello, Nocino, Concierto and Finalloro are available. Within the well-tended garden sheltered by trees at the front of the Farm are some pitches for tents and for campers.The Farm guarantees a safe stay for guests by strictly applying local and national security protocols in the fight against and prevention of COVID-19. English, French and Spanish are spoken.
Activities and surrounding
The Hotel Farm Holiday is located about 10 Km from the coast and 12 km from Amalfi, a half hour's drive from Pompeii, about an hour's drive from the Greek temples of Paestum, Sorrento, the historical center of Naples, from Vesuvius and the Royal Palace of Caserta. About a 10 minute drive, you can embark for Capri. The Amalfi Coast known as the "Divine Coast" for its views to be "breathtaking", enjoys significant global tourists for most of the year. To enjoy it to the fullest, we recommend walks along the many trails and towns, marked by free maps available at the Farm Holiday. Guests can participate in guided tours of the vineyards. It is possible to partecipate a typical local cooking classes and production and processing of traditional liquors, homemade, such as limoncello, the concerto, the walnut liqueur and finalloro. During the stay , guests can follow the process of processing and transformation of grapes into wine Doc "Costa d'Amalfi Basileo", in the Farm cellar. Since the Farm is located a short distance from the sea, at the foot of the mountains, guests can enjoy a wide range of sporting activities both sea and mountain, such as hiking, hunting, fishing. During their stay, guests can enjoy slow tourism which is practiced with "stroll secrets" direct to discover unknown natural, historical, artistic and cultural in the area of the Amalfi Coast.
