The agriturismo
The farm is located on 70,000 square meters and 4 properties within walking distance ofancient Velia and the fine sandy beaches of Casal Velino.
The strategic location between the hills, the sea and the river Alento, the extension of the farm allows guests to enjoy with all five senses, nature in all its aspects. The swimming pool is open from May to September
In June 2020 he was one of the 4 contestants of the program "4 Restaurants" in Cilento on Sky.
The accommodation
The farmhouse rooms and apartments are nestled in a bucolic country landscape and located in different areas. The pool arrea and restaurant area have rooms with a sea view or with a window suited to the various needs of our guests. The apartments are set within the stuttua among the olive groves and palm trees.
La casetta (outbuilding area):
A fragment of the ancient in the Cilento Park just a stone's throw from the sea of Elea. Surrounded by nature, "la Casetta" is the ideal retreat for those seeking sweet relaxation with the atmosphere of the past; a rustic stone cottage dating back to the early years of the century consisting of a kitchenette, a bathroom, a sitting room and a bedroom. "La Casetta" also comes with a porch equipped with a table and a garden.
Villa Il casolare (outbuilding area):
Shelter in the oak grove a few steps from the pool, consisting of two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom; ideal for a family of up to 5 people. The exterior is paved in stone and brick, surrounded by oak trees.
Apartments in STILL HOUSE:
A farmhouse overlooking the farm, with a 360-degree view and positioned on the hill of Uncle Christopher, consisting of 4 independent apartments. Each of them is 50 sq. m. with kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom, two porches positioned to take advantage of the shade and coolness. One of these porches, the one in front of the kitchen, is equipped with an open table for dining.
The restaurant has an outdoor room under a cool pergola with a sea view ideal for warm summer evenings. The indoor room, on the other hand, is rustic and has a fireplace that warms winter evenings. Farming and animal husbandry give the raw material to a typical traditional cuisine, such as hand-rolled pasta, ravioli, lagane, fusilli, baked and grilled meats washed down with excellent wines, desserts and seasonal fruits.
At the farm you can buy oil, cheese, jams and pickles.
The outdoor swimming pool is located in the farm center and is surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. The pool is open from May to September.
Activities and surrounding
Casalvelino is situated in the middle of the Natural Park of Cilento, surrounded by olive trees, on the hills that face the gulf of Velia. Marina is a small village of the small town offers wonderful sands interrupted by a small tourist harbour.
Numberless are the fishermen you can meet at the local harbour who will be ready to take you for tourist fishing you can enjoy the atmosphere of the patronal feast that are celebrated in the ancient traditional ways and keep alive the folk fascination.
Zio Cristoforo is a farm situated in a place from where you make excursions in all the area of the Parco Nazionale Del Cilento you can go in jeep through the ancient villages and sanctuaries of the hinterland and enjoy your sight with enchanting landscapes bus service for the archaeological areas of Paestum and Velia. You can rent also cars and bycicles and make sea excursions in wooden boats to Punta Licosa, Palinuro, Pisciotta.
