The agriturismo

Agriturismo Prato degli Angeli is located in Villa di Sassonero, in the valley of the Sillaro stream, in an area recognized for more than 20 years as a valley of health and now renamed "Fitness Valley."

In the heart of the hills of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, it offers many services:
- overnight stay in comfortable mini-apartments and lovely rooms;

- wellness center "Spa degli Angeli" with heated pool, whirlpool, herbal tea room, emotional showers, sauna, calidarium, naturopath

- conference center sized to the beds, equipped with large screen with pc connection, wi fi and 20 stalls;

- numerous areas dedicated to rest: thereading area, the angels' pensieve and refreshment among the olive trees.

The accommodation

Guests staying overnight at the Meadow of Angels can choose from two types of accommodation::

- the 4 suites 4 Seasons (Spring Suite, Summer Suite, Autumn Suite and Winter Suite) open space mini-apartments with 2 to 9 beds, kitchenette, sitting area, large bathroom, independent heating, chromotherapy on the bed.

- the 5 Stanze dei Poeti (Ungaretti Room, Carducci Room, Leopardi Room, Pascoli Room, Dante Alighieri Suite) double, triple and quadruple rooms equipped with 32-inch LED TV , chromotherapy on the bed, private bathroom, air conditioning.

Included in the cost of accommodation is the use of the in-house wellness center "Spa degli Angeli," open in the afternoon hours and including the following services:

- biosauna at 65° dry
- calidarium at 47°C with 90% humidity
- whirlpool 36°C and
emotional

Also available is a meeting room equipped with a large screen (3 meters by 2) and 20 equipped stations

Activities and surrounding

Thanks to the "Project Rehabilitation in Nature" authorized as a recreational activity in accordance with the implementation criteria of Law 4/2009, Elisa - physiotherapist, naturopath and owner of the facility - is available for consultations, treatments, stay of people with mild or moderate disabilities and rehabilitation stays within the farmhouse.

The farm on which the agritourism stands has 40 hectares of woods for pleasant walks along the banks of the Sillaro River. In addition, for younger guests it is possible to visit the small breeding farm of farmyard animals (hens with chicks, geese, bunnies and baby goats).

Nearby, recommended activities are:
- trekking in the many trails of the Fitness Valley-
horse-riding in the local stables
- mountain biking in the many CAI trails

For a restful stay:
- at a distance of 5 km there is the Villaggio della Salute PiùAcquapark with its prestigious spa center
