The agriturismo

Early 20th century farmhouse run by an Italian-Dutch couple situated in Modigliana, in an enchanting landscape in the hills of the Tosco-Emiliano Apennines near the Casentinesi forests and Vena del Gesso park. The area is well-known as the Giro d’Italia race route and is a natural training ground for cyclists.

The accommodation

The farmhouse is home to 2 bright, panoramic apartments and one bedroom. They offer all modern comforts and are elegantly furnished with mosaic tiles and modern bathroom fixtures. All have a private outdoor area with furniture for  spending many a pleasant hour in a romantic setting.

The house is surrounded by marvellous large green areas, a swimming pool with furnished patio, hammocks,  barbecue and a pond with lots of farmed fish.

The farm produces cold-pressed olive oil, Sangiovese and Albana wine, as well as rose, violet and poppy jams and exquisite tarts.

Cookery, painting yoga and horse riding courses are organised and it is an excellent location for banquets and special events.

Activities and surrounding

Modigliana boasts countless historical and religious sights and throughout the year hosts many events and festivals that attract locals and foreigners.

Brisighella, Tredozio, Faenza, Castrocaro Terme and Forlì are within quick and easy reach, while Florence, Bologna, San Marino, Ravenna and the seaside resort of Rimini are reachable within a 100 km.

Here reigns peace and tranquility, surrounded by green hills between olive groves and tulips with its beautiful colors. a barbecue in the middle of the lawn, sunbeds, chairs, tables, a pool and sauna. do not know what to ask for better. very very very recommended.
