The agriturismo
A short distance from Modena, Bologna and the towns of Vignola, Castelvetro and Maranello, yet far from any type of urban pollution, the agriturismo is a quiet oasis nestled in vineyards and olive groves, perfect for a relaxing holiday and for discovering the region’s history, culture, shopping, food and wine.
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers elegantly furnished rooms and apartments, in the peace and quiet of the hills, equipped with heating, air conditioning, minibar, LCD TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer and wireless internet connection.
Guests can sample everything the agriturismo produces, from dishes made with Modena PDO balsamic vinegar to extra virgin olive oil, Grasparossa lambrusco to the famous tigella bread and other traditional Modena delights.
The swimming pool (7 x 9 m and 1.40 m deep) is reserved for guests only and located in a pleasant sunny spot. Also available are mountain bikes for excursions into the surrounding area, snowshoes for Nordic walking and a private fishing lake.
Activities and surrounding
During your stay, you can take a guided tour around the farm's acetaia (vinegar cellar). Mini Emilian cookery courses are also available for small groups. Vignola is certainly worth a visit (and can be reached in 10 minutes by car or bicycle), or why not explore Maranello (15 minutes by car), Modena (40 minutes by road); or Bologna (50 minutes by car) and its Borgo Panigale quarter.
