Il Brugnolo is located just 3 km from Scandiano, in the foothills between Reggio and Modena. The property is in an old stone farmhouse from the 1800s, renovated respecting the original style, and is within an organic farm dedicated to viticulture. We offer 3 characteristic two-room apartments on the ground floor with separate entrances and 4 studio apartments in the new building constructed at the back of the farmhouse.

Groups can rent the whole farmhouse, or just one building You will find large park with pergolas, barbecue solarium, ping pong, table football, playground; also common room with long table where groups can dine together, when the weather does not allow to use the park.

Pets are welcome in the two-room apartments, maximum 2 per apartment

Between Modena and Reggio, in the town of Scandiano, this farmhouse converted from an old farmhouse offers accommodation in self-contained apartments located in a picturesque setting. The property is immersed in the quiet countryside, in the context of a12-hectare organic vineyard from which the area's wines are made, including the famous Lambrusco, the only sparkling red wine.

Brugnolo is perfect for people seeking tranquility but without giving up the conveniences offered by nearby towns. Around the farmhouse, for your relaxation, we have created, in addition to the garden, 5000 square meters of parkland; you will also find 5 hectares of vineyard where you can stroll and a small orchard where you can pick, in season, the fruit directly from the plant. The park has been accessorized with gazebo, barbecue, table tennis, table football, solarium and playground.

The farmhouse has 3 characteristic two-room apartments inside the farmhouse, renovated while maintaining their original style, and 4 studio apartments located in a new building located at the back of the farmhouse.

The one-bedroom apartments (Angelica, Melissa and Veronica) with exposed-beam ceilings and arte povera style furniture, have independent heating or air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen,linens, private bathroom, 2 televisions and accommodate from two to four people.
The 3 one-bedroom apartments are all on the ground floor with independent entrances. The Veronica apartment is also accessible to the disabled. The Angelica apartment has exclusive use of the garden.

In the two-room apartments, four-legged friends are also allowed to run freely, without the danger of cars, in our fields.

For groups it is possible to rent the entire old farmhouse with 3 one-bedroom apartments for a maximum of 11 people in all, or the new building with 4 one-bedroom apartments (Erica, Lavanda, Ninfea and Mimosa) that accommodate from two to four people, or the entire structure for a maximum of 27 people

We know very well what it means to travel with children, so we provide some cribs, high chair, baby bathtub, stroller, some toys, books and board games.

All of our apartments have wi-fi.

The farmhouse also has a common room warmed by the warmth of the fireplace, ideal for getting together for conversation, reading library books and texts about the area, and watching television with friends. Various board games, children's games are also available.

We have ample video-monitored parking, enclosed space for your bicycles or motorcycles, laundry room.

Located in the center of Emilia between Modena and Reggio Emilia, Il Brugnolo is the ideal place for those seeking tranquility without giving up cultural visits to the most beautiful cities of art in the entire region. In fact, from our facility it is possible to reach in a short time the suggestive cities of Reggio Emilia, just over 10 km away and where it is possible to admire splendid monuments; Modena, with the Duomo, the Ghirlandina and Piazza Grande, which have been declared World Heritage Sites by Unesco; andParma, with the evocative Baptistery.

In addition, from our agritourism you can discover the fascinating lands of Matilda of Canossa with parish churches and castles or get as far as the cities of Mantua and Bologna.

Concerts, festivals and celebrations, all of particular historical and cultural interest, take place regularly around the Agriturismo. Guests can also immerse themselves in the paradisiacal nature of the Parco del Gigante in the Reggio Apennines or follow interesting trekking routes on the Spallanzani or Matildico trails.

For those who love spas then, nearby our farmhouse are the Salvarola Spas, the so-called Divine Waters of Emilia Romagna. Instead, for those who love sports, you can visit Maranello and admire the magnificent Ferrari cars. In addition to this, there is also an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, athletic center, horseback riding and golf courses nearby.

Also nearby are possible hot air balloon flights and parachute jumps.

Equidistant from the Modena and Reggio Emilia trade fairs, the facility is also just 5 minutes from the Scandiano hospital and 15 minutes from the excellent hospital centers of Sassuolo and Reggio Emilia.

Just over 15 km from our farmhouse is the Reggio Emilia AV Mediopadana Station, one of the main high-speed stations in northern Italy, the only intermediate passenger stop on the Milan-Bologna high-speed line. It is one of the most viewed architectural works in Europe, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.
