The agriturismo

A flouring arbor, a rural farmhouse set amid fields and the lush greenery of the large garden, and crickets welcome the guests to this agriturismo with a family flair where the owners are ready to share the space, conversation, scents and flavors with the guests.

The accommodation

Formerly reserved for farmers who worked in the fields of the surrounding area, now the farmhouse is a completely restored space that welcomes guests offering the possibility to spend a holiday or a weekend in rooms furnished in simple style.

There are 5 rooms, painted with colours and names inspired by nature, all with private bathroom and independent heating.

At guests' disposal there is also the apartment "La via della Seta" which can accommodate up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) and has a kitchen and a sitting room.

Activities and surrounding

In front of the house there is the medieval village of Santa Margherita del Gruagno and, just beyond, the Castle of Udine. On beautiful windy days, looking southwards, the breeze of the sea and the glitter of the lagoon invite you to a trip with a salty scent to Aquileia, Grado, Lignano, Trieste or Venice. Just outside the gate begins the Strada dei Castelli e dei Prosciutti (Road of Castles and Ham), which can be travelled by car or bicycle. To the north, the silent mountains of Carnia and the Eastern Dolomites with their little-known villages and paths suitable for every shoe stand out.
