The agriturismo

About 40 minutes from Rome, on a hill of Collevecchio overlooking the valley of the Roane, the farm is an ancient complex with manor house, chapel of St. John of the sixteenth century., farmhouse and farm outbuildings, which now house accommodation for guests. The careful restoration began in the '30s and was taken over by the current owner. An elegant staircase leads to a sort of lookout point, with table and chairs, offering a 360-degree view of the valley and Monte Soratte. The green park, between the wild and the well-kept, is an oasis of unspoilt nature in which to relax. It features a wellness centre with sauna and hot tub and a rooftop pool.

The accommodation

Our German / Italian-run agriturismo is located in the Sabina, an hour's train north of Rome, with a breathtaking view of the mountains and valleys of the Sabina. You can relax in our spacious pool, walk in the park (where you can admire a 400-year-old holm oak) and enjoy the rich nature that surrounds our agriturismo. We provide you with our spacious apartments, consisting of either a double bedroom, shower room and living room with kitchenette and sofa bed (Mandarancio, Bamboo and Calicanto) or our large double apartment (Peonia) with two bedrooms with double bed, two bathrooms, one large Living room with kitchenette, bedroom and fireplace. Each of our apartments has an outdoor area with table and chairs and a beautiful view of the park, the swimming pool or the surrounding countryside. During the colder months, you can warm up and relax in our SPA, with Turkish bath and Jacuzzi. The family atmosphere does the rest to make your stay with us pleasant and extraordinary. We are happy to help you organize your holiday activities while you are with us.

Activities and surrounding

The farm is located in Collevecchio, in the Sabina tiberina, between Florence, Assisi, Viterbo and Rome (45 min.). La Sabina is rich in towers and breathtaking landscapes, for lovers of nature and history. Tarano and the medieval village of Fianello are also just a few kilometres from the farm, while the Marmore Falls are only 50 km away.
