In an enchanting corner of Sabina, an oasis of calm and traditions, a few kilometers from Rome, is the agriturismo Montepiano, which offers hospitality in anancient home of the owners in the village of Montasola. A wonderful and enchanting natural balcony from which you can enjoy a magnificent panorama surrounded by green woods.

The apartments and rooms of the agriturismo are all located in the historic center of Montasola, in the beautiful hinterland of Rome, all panoramic, independent and furnished with period furniture.

At Agriturismo Montepiano guests can experience the simple life of the fields, between pleasant walks and moments of relaxation, planning nature excursions or itineraries to discover Rome.

Agriturismo Montepiano is located in an enchanting corner of Sabina a few kilometers from Rome, amidst expanses of olive trees and historic woods.

The farm offers hospitality in an ancient and charming 16th-century palace, owned by the family for about three centuries, which is located in the historic center of Montasola.

The structure consists of four panoramic apartments furnished with period furniture for a total of 10 beds.

The available apartments are all independent and located in a palace built on the city walls of Montasola. Recently renovated, all have every comfort, the rooms retain antique furnishings, and the kitchen is equipped with linens.

Each room boasts breathtaking views of the entire surrounding area, thanks to terraces and balconies. The relative panoramic height means that from the property one can see Mount Soratte, Rome and its Dome, all the way to the splendid Cimini Mountains.

Within each apartment, guests have maps of the area's sights and illustrated books at their complete disposal. Also available are local products, wine, oil, bread, jams, milk, sugar, tea, mineral water, and sweets.

The property a short distance away offers a garden located at the top of the village. The garden is furnished with chairs armchairs and tables. Guests have the opportunity to organize barbecues and outdoor lunches.

Montasola is an enchanted place where tourists can dream, meditate and enjoy the extraordinary horizons that characterize the entire area. The silence of the village streets, the sweetness of the surrounding landscape, the beautiful sunsets behind the rolling hills, offer the right relaxation in an enchanting corner of Sabina.

In the vicinity of Montasola you can find some typical restaurants, where you can taste the best local specialties as well as other numerous rich Italian dishes packed with genuine products.

For those who love sports there is a large and welcoming swimming pool in the village of Cantalupo, just a 10-minute drive from Montepiano. Another swimming pool is located further away in Montebuono , about 30 minutes away.

Golf enthusiasts, on the other hand, can take advantage of the fine weather and choose from three golf clubs (9 holes) located in Sabina. Other 18-hole golf courses can be reached in the northern Rome area (about an hour's drive).

For horse lovers, a riding school is just 20 minutes away from the property.

The Montepiano farm is also involved in the production of extra virgin olive oil, a typical product of the area. In fact, Sabina is one of the Italian regions that has obtained DOC DOP recognition for olive oil production.

Fairs and Folk Festivals:

Every first Sunday of the month in Osteria Nuova, just 40 minutes away, there is a large country fair, while characteristic flea markets are on the second Sunday of each month in Gavignano, the third Sunday of each month in Rieti , and the fourth Sunday of each month in Fara. For those who love folcklore from mid-July to the end of September, concerts, dances, film festivals and outdoor lunches are held in the main squares of Montasola and in the litrofi villages.
