The agriturismo

 

Casale Poggio Nebbia is located on a panoramic hill 110 m. above sea level offering a suggestive view of the mountains behind and the sea in front. It is the ideal place to relax while swimming in the panoramic swimming pool, enjoy excellent aperitifs at sunset, enjoy a traditional cuisine prepared with organic farm products, accompanied by the excellent wine produced on the farm. It is also possible to practice many outdoor sports, such as horseback riding with beautifull Maremma horses, excursions with enduro bikes, with classic mountain bikes and with pedal assistance. The lodgings furnished in poor art style, respect the typical Maremma style and offer all the necessary comforts to make an unforgettable holiday.

The accommodation

The farmhouse has 7 comfortable and welcoming rooms built in stone and chestnut wood, with direct access to the garden, a large external porch with table and sofas, private bathroom, satellite TV, stereo system, mini bar, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Fi free and a beautiful and spacious apartment furnished with solid wood furniture.

The restaurant offers an intimate and refined environment, with a breathtaking view of the sea and a cuisine with typical dishes of the rural tradition prepared with organic products from the  farm, combined with excellent wines produced on the farm.

The relaxing area includes a panoramic swimming pool, a large solarium equipped with sun beds, a nice bar for the  guests and an excellent music that is the background to the spectacular view of the sea and to the cheerful chirping of Cruccioni,amazing birds from brightly colored plumage that color the sky in summer.

 

 

Activities and surrounding

The agriturismo is located at the heart of Tuscia, a region filled with history, culture, nature and fine food and wine.  Located in the scenic Farnesiana area, along the Via Francigena on the border between Lazio and Tuscany, the farm is just a few km from the port of Civitavecchia and just 40 minutes from Fiumicino airport.

Less than 10 minutes by car takes you to the city of Tarquinia, with its beautiful medieval historic centre, the necropolis and the museum of Etruscan civilisation, the Saline nature reserve and thousands of hectares of woodland ideal for excursions of all kinds.

An hour's drive takes you to: Bomarzo Park, Civita di Bagnoreggio, Rome, Capalbio, Viterbo, Lakes Bracciano and Bolsena, Tola and Allumiere (the lands on which cows and Maremmano horses graze). Casale Poggio Nebbia guests can also enjoy free climbing, mountain biking, horse riding and off-road motorcycling, with endurance courses available in collaboration with CRC Adventure.
