The accommodation

Situated in one of the most evocative areas of the countryside of central Italy, the beautiful agritourism complex of Spinetta, composed of independent apartments, is the result of the renovation of an ancient rural building and its farm outbuildings, within a well-kept farm of 110 ha. La Spinetta is the ideal place for those who want to spend a period of vacation and relaxation without sacrificing the usual comforts, combining tranquility and spaciousness with houses furnished with particular attention and equipped with every comfort. A few hundred meters, on a hill, the ancient family residence of the owners who, while living usually in Rome, do not give up spending all their free time in this estate of great beauty and serenity. The agritourism structure of the Spinetta is composed of three independent buildings, brought back, after a wise work of restoration, to the original architectural features. The main farmhouse dates back to the late Middle Ages. The work of restoration and restructuring, has been able to create warm and bright using and researching traditional techniques and materials such as terracotta, wood, ceramics and ancient stones. The swimming pool is located between the 4 apartments (12 x 6 mt.), in a natural reservoir of land and bordered by large trees, is equipped with umbrellas, tables, chairs and sunbeds for the sun. The property, immersed in the green hills of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio, at an altitude of 560 meters above sea level, enjoys an excellent geographical and tourist position: just 7 km. from Lake Bolsena, 25 from Orvieto, the Etruscan archaeological sites and the characteristic Tuscan villages of Sovana, Sorano, Pitigliano and others. The estate is well connected to the main roads such as the A1 motorway, just 25 minutes away, and the pleasant state road Cassia, which connects Rome to Florence, through the Val d'Orcia and the famous wine-growing areas of southern Tuscany. The nearest villages are San Lorenzo Nuovo (1.5 km.) and Acquapendente (4 km.), equipped with all necessary services. The panorama of this country relais is accompanied by the family farm, with fields of wheat, corn, sugar beets, sunflowers and a small garden of organic products for guests.
