Walking barefoot on the warm resin floors heated naturally by a wood-fuelled boiler, or going out first thing in the morning on the balcony of the independent apartment that overlooks the valley to admire it as it slowly awakens, are only some of the simple but deep emotions you can experience while staying at agritourism Il Mulino.

Set inside Centro Anidra Rural Park (labelled as Panda Farm from the WWF), in the wonderful natural frame of the Sturla Valley that protects it and gives it a feeling of infinite peace and quiet, this agritourism is an exceptional place to get back in touch with your inner-self by regaining an authentic and perhaps forgotten contact with nature.

Once an old water mill, agritourism Il Mulino has been recently restored into an original edifice that on the one hand respects the local building tradition with its external stone walls, and on the other hand the modern principles of bio-architecture and Feng Shui with the use of natural materials and the interior design of the accommodations.

Each of the four accommodations is in fact named after a primary natural element - wood, fire, metal and earth – to which it is connected, for example, the earth element is characterised by an undulating wall that expresses the natural flow of energy and emphasizes the rooms’ hospitality with its ceilings made with chestnut wood, the walls with natural lime plaster, the ecological panels with wooden fibres that isolate the walls and protect your repose. Not to mention the attention paid to details like the electrical system equipped with circuit breakers to avoid the formation of magnetic fields or the orientation of the building itself which harmonically fits into the surrounding environment.

Here as the old meets the modern the East meets the West and you have the opportunity of following yoga and martial arts courses offered by the Anidra School, of dedicating your day to finding your wellbeing and your own inner balance thanks to the different wellness services offered like the Finnish sauna, the holistic, craniosacral and shiatsu massage treatments or simply a walk in the open air, along the river, maybe down to the waterfall, losing yourself in the magic atmosphere of its pond, a timeless place of astonishing beauty that you can reach by simply going for a short walk in the woods.

Last but not least, our menus are prepared with organic home-grown products like fresh vegetables, honey, extra virgin olive oil, jams and above all our salami, the house special, which is recognised at national level and, just like our coppa and pancetta, is produced without chemical additives from pigs bred in the wild of our woods … to really leave an unforgettable mark in the palate and the memories of those who come and visit.

Booking conditions: To confirm your reservation you must send a copy of the receipt of the payment. Payment can be equal to the entire amount for the days and the number of people booked or it can be a down payment equal to 50% of the total.

If you pay a deposit, the balance of the booking will be on arrival, the balance of extra drinks at end of your stay.

Being located within the CentroAnidra, an unspoiled rural park in the Sturla Valley, created to recover a beautiful area that has been neglected for too many years, at the farmhouse the guest has the opportunity to engage in a variety of outdoor and other activities organized by the Center, always with absolute respect for the peace and rest that characterize the atmosphere of the entire facility.

First and foremost, walks are organized. The free hikes in the open air, along the river, on a magical path, up to the waterfall: the absolute most suggestive place, to forget yourself and listen to the roar of the water, without doing anything else. And then the walks to the Shell, the Pian'Oro and the Pian Argento, moors that open almost suddenly among the dense trees, left untouched in the middle of the forest. With a map of the park provided by the facility, you can follow the trails and explore all its sights. For outdoor enthusiasts, just 10 minutes away, adults and children can devote a half-day to discovering aerial trails among the fir trees in an atmospheric adventure park.

For those who prefer more "pampering," there are services made available in-house, such as holistic massage with craniosacral, shiatsu, ayurveda, pranotherapeutic treatment; Finnish sauna lessons in Tai Ji Quan, Yoga and Kenjitsu (Japanese Sword) offered by the instructors of the centerAnidra; to devote some moments of the day also to learning these ancient disciplines, aimed at the well-being of the person understood in the broadest sense.

The surrounding area has much to offer as the centerAnidra is located half an hour from both the sea and beaches of Tigullio and the spectacular mountains of the Ligurian Apennines all waiting to be discovered. The most striking locationson the coast are Sestri Levante with its unforgettable historic center, Rapallo, Santa Margherita, Portofino, Camogli, and, of course, the Cinque Terre, world-famous for its architecture literally hanging over the sea, like small houses in a nativity scene. The mountain attractions are also special with splendid hikes to lakes and peaks with unique flora and fauna and spectacular views where even the island of Corsica can be glimpsed.

In winter, the town of Santo Stefano d'Aveto with its ski resort also offers the opportunity to fully enjoy the winter season. Finally, for those who would like to stop inland, there is the Sturla Valley, with its verdant landscapes and colors and with two things not to be missed: the abbey of Borzone and the face of Christ, a huge stone sculpture from very ancient times, the mystery of which historians have not been able to decipher to this day.
