Via Valle Gargassa 100 - Strada Panoramica Ciazze, 16010 Rossiglione (Genoa) Code 010051-AGR-0002
Accessible via the Masone and Ovada motorway exits, the agriturismo is located at 600 metres above sea level in Rossiglione, part of the Beigua Park, on the Po side of the Ligurian Apennines.
This pastoral farm has been devoted to rearing animals since the 1960s, in particular “Bruna” dairy cattle. The dairy produces a selection of cheeses, available for guests to purchase along with the farm’s meats.
Guest accommodation is available in 3 double rooms with bathrooms, which may be adapted to create triples or quadruples. All rooms are simply and comfortably furnished.
The chance to get up close with nature and the farm animals make this the ideal rural setting for those looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.
Guests are welcome to explore the farm: the cowsheds feature an innovative robotised milking system (the only one of its kind in Liguria). Group workshops are also available in the small dairy, for guests to discover how mozzarella is made.
The Stura Valley and the upper Orba Valley are ideal for hiking: the farm’s “trail map" suggests 14 routes which wind along pathways and mule tracks by the coast, over plains and ridges and through valleys.
A short distance away you’ll also find the Beigua Park, the Capanne di Marcarolo Park, the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri trail, mountain biking tracks, Genoa, the Ligurian Riviera, Acqui Terme, Ovada and Gavi.
Inform the agriturismo of any animals at the time of booking.
Owners will be held responsible for damage to property and persons.
