Agriturismo Vegia Roe

Vegia Rộe ("Old Oak") is a family-run, organically certified agritourism offering food, accommodation and sale of agricultural products in the Ligurian hinterland; it is located in Niusci, a small hamlet of 40 inhabitants in the municipality of Serra Riccò, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, but only twenty minutes from the picturesque Genoa.

Giulia and Michele will welcome you together with their animals; you can relax in the silence of nature and enjoy traditional Ligurian dishes prepared by Giulia and grandmother Paola.

The farmhouse is easily reached in a few minutes from the city of Genoa, by car, bus or the historic Genoa-Casella train.

LODGINGS: An awakening in the countryside a few minutes from Genoa

On the hillside, just a short walk from the farmhouse, are our accommodations: charming detached bungalows, studios and two-room apartments, surrounded by vegetable gardens and farm animals. The structures, built with eco-sustainable materials, fully respect nature. The use of wood helps to create cozy and comfortable environments, warm in winter and cool in summer. Rustic and elegant at the same time, the accommodations are functional and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Ideal for all types of stays, from romantic weekends to family vacations, from business trips to summer stays for seniors, scout groups and colonies.

Amenities included: parking, air conditioning, bike maintenance kit, secure bike storage, towels, hair dryer, coffee/tea maker, refrigerator, TV, microwave, kitchenette, high chair, BBQ.

Children and teens can play outside safely and make friends with the farm animals. Four-legged friends are welcome!

AGRI-BREAKFAST

The rate includes Agri-Breakfast, a rich basket delivered directly outside the accommodation at the requested time (from 7:30 am to 11:00 am), prepared with fresh and organic products from our farm, "zero km".

AGRI-RESTAURANT: "Eating is a necessity, eating wholesome is a choice."

From our gardens we get the raw materials for jams, preserves and infusions, which enrich the kitchen.

In the restaurant, in a familiar and cozy atmosphere, guests can enjoy typical dishes of Ligurian and non-Ligurian cuisine, always prepared with local products and respecting tradition. The pasta and ravioli are handmade according to the recipes of great-grandmother Maria Rosa.

The facility is ideal for ceremonies, birthdays, buffets and business lunches/dinners.

NEAR GENOA

Vegia Roe is the ideal destination for those who enjoy a relaxing stay in nature, away from the hustle and bustle, but do not want to deprive themselves of the wonders that the city of Jehovah offers; in about 25 minutes it is in fact, it is possible to reach the center and visit its museum centers, the Aquarium, the Sea Museum, the old port, the Bigo, the theaters and the many other attractions that the Ligurian capital offers.

Genoa can be reached by car/motorbike, bus, or the historic Genoa-Casella train that caresses the small inland towns to reach the city center.

EXPERIENCE THE COUNTRYSIDE

Inside the farmhouse you can make friends with the animals, visit our vegetable gardens and pick fruits and vegetables for the farm.

Giulia and Michele will suggest seasonal activities and attractions in the area, including hiking and mountain biking trails, the Casella and Mulino Vecchio swimming pools.

Thanks to the synergy with other activities in the area, it is possible to enjoy horseback riding trips, visit local farms to watch the production of cheese and typical local products.
