The agriturismo

A few minutes from the Côte d'Azur and the Riviera dei Fiori, the agriturismo is run with great passion by the Muratore family, who put their all into helping their guests to discover the typical hamlet of Olivetta San Michele and its Occitan tradition. In this oasis of peace, guests can enjoy holidays up close with nature, in the quiet of the olive groves and the Mediterranean shrubland.

The farm also offers a campsite with campervan pitches covered by 24h CCTV, a picnic area, barbecue and bocce. The bus stop for connections to/from Ventimiglia and the train station are just 2 km away.

The accommodation

The farm provides a selection of guest accommodation options, surrounded by greenery, with a delicious breakfast provided. In more detail:

El Rancho+El Ranchino+Serena: a large independent building, adjustable over several floors to suit your needs, which can accommodate up to 22 guests. The building enjoys a solarium terrace, outside kitchen, units of 2 to 6 bedrooms + sofa beds.

Casa Maremonti: an apartment on two levels, with stunning views of two enchanting valleys.

Casa Giulietta: comprises a balcony, kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom.

 

The agriturismo’s reception area is located at the entrance to Olivetta, where you’ll find internet access, an information point and a shop offering free tasting and the chance to purchase the farm's own and other typical produce:  extra virgin olive oil, olives in brine, olive oil soap, wine, olive paste, pesto and sundried tomatoes. In summer guests can enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables grown using biodynamic methods (with the option to pick and purchase directly from the vegetable garden).

Activities and surrounding

Olivetta San Michele is just 100 m from the French border, 15 minutes from the sea and half an hour from Menton, Monaco and Sanremo.

In the surrounding area guests can enjoy horseback excursions, canyoning and rafting, visit the Mercantour Park and explore the region’s pathways. In Sanremo you’ll find a beautiful winding cycle track.
