Located in the ancient village of Vesallo di Castelbianco, dating back to medieval times, this farmhouse was born from the careful renovation of some old stone buildings.

La casa dei Nonni has 5 rooms, 3 with private bathroom and 2 sharing the same bathroom. The room of the Giare, the Efisia , the Elisa, the room of the Nonni, the Azzurra, each room has its own name, its own personality, its own style. A harmony of colours and furnishings has been created for each room, often using antique furniture.

La stanza delle Giare
is a double room with private bathroom and terrace and has an independent entrance. The other rooms are on the first floor of the main building, where the breakfast room is located on the ground floor.
For those who prefer a holiday in complete autonomy, we offer five apartments: the"Casa delCiliegio", the"Vissà" and "IlRoseto" with 2/3 rooms and largeterraces
suitable for families and "La Tavernetta" and "La Rondinaia" with one room. They have been built inside the old stone houses that make up the village
of Vesallo. They are
located right next to the main house and can use all our services

A small garden is available to all customers.
Every morning breakfast is served in the room that once housed theancient tavern of the grandparents. The buffet includes yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit in season, as well as fruit juices and jams of our own production, local cheeses, and every morning a different cake, naturally homemade.

La Casa dei Nonni is located in Castelbianco, a small village in the Ligurian hinterland which became part of the " Most Beautiful Villages of Italy" in 2008. There is no shortage of opportunities to spend your days in the woods, olive groves and streams, immersed in the tranquility of the green for a holiday in contact with nature and relaxation.

For lovers of trekking, there are several well-marked paths around the various villages of the town and throughout the valley. The same paths are often practicable by mountain-bike. In Castelbianco and along the entire Pennavaire Valley
there are many cliffs for the practice of sport climbing, of various degrees of difficulty, suitable for both beginners and experts. Along the Pennavaire torrent there is also the possibility of fishing for enthusiasts.
Only 15 km. separates us from the sea and the most beautiful beaches in Liguria. Alassio and Laigueglia offer you sandy beaches, well-equipped bathing establishments and the possibility to practice all the summer water sports. At about 20 minutes by car the big water park "Le Caravelle" offers a lot of fun for adults and children. At only 15 minutes by car there are the Golf club Garlenda, the Ippodromo dei Fiori , and two equestrian centers for
pleasant horse riding.
The Aquarium
of Genoa, the largest in Europe, can be reached by train from Albenga or by car in about an hour. In the surroundings there are medieval villages to visit, such as Zuccarello and Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena, or the ancient Roman city of Albenga. There are also many day trips that can be made to visit the surrounding areas: from Montecarlo and the nearby French Riviera, to the cities of Bordighera , Ventimiglia and Sanremo ; to the villages of Dolceacqua , Apricale and Pigna; without forgetting Piedmont, which is only an hour and a half away by car, for a pleasant eno-gastronomic excursion to the "Langhe" area where excellent wines such as Barolo and Barbaresco areproduced.
