The agriturismo
This old country house, skilfully renovated to preserve the features of the traditional country construction, is located in the historic centre of Piovere, just 7-8 minutes on foot from the farm, where you can enjoy typical produce such as extra virgin olive oil. Here you’ll also find a sunbathing area and a barbecue zone for preparing delicious grilled meats.
The accommodation
The farmhouse offers 4 independent lodgings, 3 apartments and 1 room.
From the inner courtyard of the house you can access the Attic, located on the 2nd floor and arranged on 2 levels; it consists of 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a large living room with fireplace, country kitchen and beautiful lake view. In the restoration have been maintained the wooden beams and the stone wall.
Fico, apartment on the first floor and with 2 entrances on 2 levels, consists of 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, living room with kitchenette, sofa bed and fireplace, sunny balcony with pergola and large fig tree, enclosed by the walls of the courtyard.
Taverna is an apartment on one level, with a double bedroom, a bathroom with Jacuzzi and a large kitchen-living room (with sofa bed), with a huge fireplace, cheap wood stove and antique furniture in "arte povera" style; it has also the old terracotta-tiled floors and the ceilings with wooden beams. It has direct access to the courtyard where a small "museum" of agriculture has been set up.
CHICCA is the new room at the Fondaco. Charming and obtained from a space formerly used to store equipment for the olive harvest, it has a stove, refrigerator and dishwasher.
The vaulted ceiling, with part of the walls in stone, and the minimalist furnishings make the environment modern while maintaining at the same time the characteristics of an old rural house.
The lodgings can be interconnected to accommodate groups of up to 12 people. Guests can visit the small cellar where once salami and cheeses were seasoned and where now you can buy 0 km products, such as oil, vegetables and fruit in season.
Activities and surrounding
Piovere is one of the six hamlets of the municipality of Tignale; in the surroundings, in addition to the stream for canyoning lovers, there are the Sanctuary of Montecastello, overlooking the lake, and the panoramic church of San Pietro of the VI-VII century AD. To visit also the ecomuseum "Limonaia Prà de la fam", an eighteenth-century garden of lemons and the Museum of the Park Alto Garda Bresciano.
In addition to the adventure park and ideal areas for hiking, mountain biking, Nordic walking, Tignale offers a port on the lake with an area equipped for renting umbrellas and deck chairs. Here you can practice sports such as sailing, wind surfing and kite surfing.
At 150m from the property you have free access to the swimming pool.
