The agriturismo
This old country house, skilfully renovated to preserve the features of the traditional country construction, is located in the historic centre of Piovere, just 7-8 minutes on foot from the farm, where you can enjoy typical produce such as extra virgin olive oil. Here you’ll also find a sunbathing area and a barbecue zone for preparing delicious grilled meats.
The accommodation
The farmhouse provides 4 independent lodgings, 3 apartments and 1 room.
From the inner courtyard of the dwelling there is access to the Penthouse accommodation, located on the 2nd floor and arranged on 2 levels; it consists of 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a large living room with fireplace, country kitchen and beautiful lake view. In the restoration, the exposed wooden beams and the stone flush wall were kept.
Fico, an apartment on the first floor and with 2 entrances on 2 levels, consists of 2 doubles, a bathroom with shower, living room with kitchenette, sofa bed and fireplace, sunny balcony with pergola and large fig tree, enclosed by the walls of the courtyard.
Taverna is an apartment on one level, with a double bedroom, a bathroom with a large shower tray and a large kitchen-living room (with sofa bed), with huge fireplace, cheap wood stove and old "arte povera" style furniture; it also has the old terracotta floors and wooden beamed ceilings. It has direct access to the courtyard where a small "museum" of agriculture has been set up.
CHICCA is the new room at the Fondaco. Charming and made out of a space formerly used to store olive harvesting equipment, it has a stove, refrigerator and dishwasher.
The vaulted ceiling, with part of the walls made of stone, and minimalist furnishings make for a modern environment while still maintaining the characteristics of an old rural home.
The accommodations can be linked together to accommodate groups of up to 12 people. Guests can visit the small wine cellar where salami and cheeses were once cured and where 0-kilometer products, such as oil, vegetables and seasonal fruits, can now be purchased.
Activities and surrounding
Piovere is one of the six hamlets of the municipality of Tignale; in the surroundings, in addition to the stream for canyoning lovers, there are the Sanctuary of Montecastello, overlooking the lake, and the panoramic church of San Pietro of the VI-VII century AD. To visit also the ecomuseum "Limonaia Prà de la fam", an eighteenth-century garden of lemons and the Museum of the Park Alto Garda Bresciano.
In addition to the adventure park and ideal areas for hiking, mountain biking, Nordic walking, Tignale offers a port on the lake with an area equipped for renting umbrellas and deck chairs. Here you can practice sports such as sailing, wind surfing and kite surfing.
At 150m from the property you have free access to the swimming pool.
