Via Borghetto, 22 , Bedizzole 25081 Bedizzole (Brescia) Code 017014-AGR-00001
Macesina is one of the small hamlets of the municipality of Bedizzole, a locality of very ancient origins, endowed with its own church, almost an autonomous rural community whose highest point has been dominated since the 15th century by a typical Lombard farmstead, "Il Borghetto," which over time ended up taking the name of the place itself.
In recent years, this farmstead has undergone a complex plan of conservative restoration, which has in fact maintained the typical features of the old building by recontextualizing them in contemporary times. From this project was born the farmhouse, a small sanctuary of relaxation, wellness and good living, where tradition, culture and history of an area can coexist with modern comfort needs.
With vehicle charging station.
The farm holiday, with its 5 rooms and one apartment, offers exclusive accommodations with bed and breakfast for a small party of guests, who will have access to the private parking space, the wellness center and a wide assortment of typical products by local farms ranging from wine to jams, honey to flour. All around, the green and quiet of a private park with swimming pool, fruit trees, scented shrubs and olive trees and a relax area with a pond and a gazebo for reading where the guests can enjoy all the peaceful serenity of Brescia's countryside.
The farm is located in an ideal position to reach the many tourist and cultural destinations of the Garda area, the province of Brescia, Lombardy and Veneto.
In the near vicinity don't miss a visit to ancient Sirmione, the tourist capital of the Lower Garda area, famous the world over for its spas, Salò, which was the historical capital of the Italian Social Republic, the Gardone Riviera, which is home to Gabriele D'Annunzio's marvelous “Vittoriale degli Italiani”.
Garda is also a synonym of some of Europe's cleanest lakeside beaches and lake waters and tourism; it is a synonym of Gardaland, the most famous and best known theme park in the western Benaco area. Garda is also Valtenesi, the heart of the production of Garda Classico DOC wines: Groppello (a red wine made with the homonymous indigenous grape variety) and Chiaretto (a rosè wine of unique freshness, it too made with Groppello grapes). Then there is Garda Bresciano DOP extra virgin olive oil. From spring to late autumn, there are many top-class gourmet events, among which "Primavera-Il Profumo dei Chiaretti (Spring - The Scent of Chiaretti) (in Gardone Riviera at the end of May), the Puegnago Agricultural Fair (at the beginning of September), and Profumi di Mosto (Scents of Must) - (a gourmet tour to the area's wine cellars held in the month of October to celebrate the final phases of the grape harvest).
And those who wish to experience and obtain first-hand knowledge of the countryside can take the small trail, which leads after a short walk of a few minutes into the Fiume Chiese Park, the nesting place of the grey heron.
