The agriturismo
The Cà del lago agriturismo is just a stone’s throw from the shores of Lake Como, in the town of Gravedona ed Uniti set in the countryside; a combination of love of local traditions and modern comforts, it offers a private swimming pool and a wellness centre exclusively for guests. For guests there is a bar service and tastings of typical products.
The accommodation
Located in the town of Gravedona ed Uniti (formerly Consiglio di Rumo) on Lake Como, the accommodation facility is surrounded by a large garden, thus guaranteeing privacy and relaxation. Guests are welcomed toa homely environment, furnished with taste and preserving some distinctive original features, like the fireplace in the sitting room on the ground floor.
The 10 bedrooms have modern furnishings, combining classic and contemporary elements: the floor in larch wood, wooden beam and terracotta ceiling, bed bases with proper mattresses to guarantee comfort, and high-tech accessories like television, Internet connection, direct line telephone and mini bar. Painted in different colours, the bedrooms each have their own personality, offering guests an even more special stay.
The agriturismo offers guests the use of an outdoor swimming pool and a wellness centre complete with sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool tub, relaxation area with infrared lamps and massage room. It can be booked in its entirety, for moments of relaxation in total privacy.
The products available to taste and produced on-site include wildflower honey, jams, cheeses and cold cuts.
Activities and surrounding
Guests can hire mountain bikes free of charge from the agriturismo to explore trails in the mountains, hills or around Lake Como.
15km from the agriturismo are several riding stables which offer horses for trekking in the countryside.
Hiking fans have a range of different itineraries to choose from, while those who prefer it can hire a boat for a trip on the lake or take the ferry.
