The agriturismo
The construction of the Farm Holiday Centre Beatilla dates back to the year 1498 and is situated inside the Mincio Nature Reserve. “Beatilla” is also close to the famous Bosco della Fontana (Well’s wood) which was the former game reserve of the Gonzaga during the XVI and XVII centuries.
The accommodation
The agritourism is located next to a bicycle path, which on the one hand makes it possible to reach the center of Mantua after only 15 minutes, and on the other, winds for about forty kilometers along the banks of the Mincio River, as far as Peschiera on Lake Garda.
Indispensable for the managers are the attention and care for the guests; the desire is to make one breathe on every occasion a completely familiar atmosphere in which one can feel at home, and which can leave a trace - an indelible memory in one's heart.
The farm consists of apartments and double rooms; also adjacent to the facility is a restaurant (called Agriturismo Corte Barco) that is also an art gallery. All the artworks on display are related to the internationally famous artist, L. Bornoffi.
The apartments (with kitchen) and rooms have private bathrooms with designer ceramics, TV, air conditioning, Frauflex super comfort mattresses, independent heating, and towels. All the furnishings in the accommodations were handmade in an artistic key by L.Bornoffi, a painter and designer, recycling old materials.
All accommodations are assigned on a roulette formula at the time of booking. From the covid, breakfast is served directly in the room, in a special breakfast bag, with homemade products.
Reading room: the Beatillino room is a reading and recreation room, so you can relax by reading a good book. Wifi available.

Activities and surrounding
From the agritourism it is possible to go on excursions on foot, or by bicycle thanks to the bicycle path that connects Mantua with Lake Garda, which are 4 and 26 km away from the agritourism, respectively.
It is possible to book guided tours of the city of Mantua and river excursions on the lakes of Mantua.
It is also possible to visit the Bertone Park, the Fountain Woods, now home to the European Home-Life Project and National Center for the Study and Conservation of Forest Biodiversity, where it is possible to admire centuries-old trees such as oaks, hornbeams and maples and numerous animal species.
Trekking and walking: thanks to our proximity to the famous Bosco della Fontana, an ancient hunting reserve of the Gonzaga family, you can enjoy wonderful walks in the midst of nature.

Horseback Riding: cooperating with a nearby riding school, we are able to organize horseback rides or lessons for beginners.
Farm Visiting: guided farm visits to explain how to grow a vegetable garden, field grains, forages and small fruits.
