The agriturismo

The farm is nestled in the green morainal hills of Mantua, in Castiglione delle Stiviere, not far from Lake Garda.

 

The farm produces wine (Garda Merlot Doc, Cabernet and Sauvignon Doc, Igt Bianco, Spumante Brut Bianco and Brut Rosé) and also keeps bees (producing acacia, lime and wildflower honey) and also runs a restaurant/pizzeria 2 km from the farmhouse, the ideal venue for events and celebrations.

The accommodation

The farmhouse was renovated to create 2 apartments (1-4 beds), 3 two-room apartments with kitchenettes and 3 rooms with single or double beds. All accommodation is tastefully furnished to create a family setting, and there is also a lounge where guests can enjoy generous breakfasts.

 

All rooms include private bathrooms, air conditioning, heating, mini bars, wireless internet connection and easy access for disabled guests. There is also undercover parking.

 

The La Mansarda restaurant (in Grole, 2 km) is run by the same owners and serves typical meat and fish dishes. On the farm itself, guests can also sample wine in a dedicated tasting room, also available for events of all kinds. Both the farm's wine and its honey are also on sale on site.

Activities and surrounding

The surrounding nature is home to a host of pathways, ideal for relaxing walks or mountain biking excursions.

Just a short car ride takes you to a wealth of historic and tourist spots, such as the medieval towns of Castellaro Lagusello and Borghetto sul Mincio, and cities filled with history such as Mantua, Veronaand Brescia.

The region is also home to a number of theme parks, such as Gardaland, Movieland Park, Caneva World, Parco La Quiete and the Cavour Water Park.
