The agriturismo
Farmhouse immersed in the morainic hills of the Mincio Park and located just 5 km south of Lake Garda. The serenity of the forest in which it is immersed, the peace of the surrounding countryside and the panorama of Lake Garda offer the possibility of pleasant stays and interesting excursions by bicycle or on foot.
A brand new panoramic swimming pool is also available to guests.
The accommodation
The farmhouse has a large breakfast room, a relaxation room and 6 bedrooms.
The rooms all have private bathrooms with showers or -- in one case -- bathtubs. They all have air conditioning and TV. There is also the possibility of having free Internet access.
Special feature of the facility is the presence of an old renovated bocce court. Attached to the farm is a small parish church from 1150 that is still consecrated and dedicated to St. Nicholas.
The farm's main crop is a newly planted vineyard (equally divided between red and white grapes).
Activities and surrounding
The Country House is located near the Mantova-Peschiera cycling track, only 3 Km from the Mincio River and it is possible to visit historic areas such as Peschiera, Borghetto, Valeggio and Goito.
A few kilometres inland there are the towns of Solferino, San Martino della Battaglia, Castellaro Lagusello. The country house is also only 30 Km from Verona and Mantova.
The farm is also only 5 Km south of Lake Garda and other well known areas are within easy reach, such as Sirmione with its thermal baths dating from Roman times, Bardolino and Garda and the amusement parks of Gardaland, Canevaworld, Movieland.
