The agriturismo
In Lentate sul Sevese in the Brianza countryside, within easy reach of Milan, Monza and the Rho exhibition centre, the farm was originally devoted to beekeeping, and now provides guest accommodation in the beautiful setting of the Groane Park.
During their stay, guests can meet the farm animals and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, but still enjoy easy access to the major transport links.
The accommodation
Guest accommodation is provided in the La Casa del Cielo apartment, which also contains the Cerere and Demetra rooms (available for booking individually), plus two bathrooms and a lounge.
All rooms and apartments include a coffee area with a selection of teas, herbal teas and biscotti, restored antique furniture, and ergonomic, hypoallergenic, breathable, thermo-regulated mattresses. The bed linen is made of the lightest Italian cotton. Guests can also choose between three different types of pillow, for the optimum night’s sleep.
Additional facilities include: fridge with still and sparkling water, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine with pods, hairdryer, courtesy set, air conditioning with independent thermostat and ceiling fans, parking, and children’s play area with undercover and outdoor sections.
The restaurant serves family recipes made using carefully selected seasonal ingredients, mainly from the farm itself or sourced from other zero mile producers. Agricena (agri-dinner) is served on Friday and Saturday evenings (8 pm to 10 pm), and a buffet agribrunch is served on Sundays at lunchtime. Tasting sessions are also available (11:30 am – 2 pm).
Activities and surrounding
A selection of classes are available (bread making, cookery), along with team building and workshops for adults and children (ice-cream and cheese, botany and drawing), as well as guided tours of the farm. Rooms are also available for hire for conferences, private celebrations, snacks, aperitifs, dinners and lunches.
Gift packs of farm produce are available for purchase.
Pony excursions are also available. In the farm shop you'll find milk, cheese, yoghurt, ice-cream, cakes, rice, sauces and other culinary specialties, as well as bread, honey, flour, jams, cured meats and wine.
