The agriturismo
With its 35 hectares immersed in the Rocche del Roero Park, Le Querce del Vareglio farmhouse is in itself an experience of tranquility and beauty while fully experiencing the surrounding nature. It is located in Canale d'Alba , a 2-minute drive from the historic center.
Its elegant style is reflected in the refined architecture of this 17th-century farmhouse in the picturesque hills of the Roero, where time seems to flow at a different pace and the beauty of nature blends with good wine and traditional dishes.
The farmhouse has a riding stables, a swimming pool with solarium,a meeting room with the possibility of organizing corporate events, a restaurant open for lunch and offers hospitality in diverrse types of rooms with breakfast. On reservation possibility of tastings
The accommodation
Agrisuite Le Querce del Vareglio has 14 rooms of different types including:Standard, Comfort, Junior Suite and Suite.
The decor, characterized by clean lines and soft colors, blends naturally with the historicity of the building.
Guests' comfort is a top priority. Dorelan mattresses provide rejuvenating rest and gentle nighttime pampering.
Waiting for you in the morning is a rich homemade breakfast to start your day off right.
Inside the facility there is a restaurant open for lunch by reservation with a menu of traditional Piedmontese dishes. We devote great attention to the selection of raw materials, using organic products, from local farms and our own production.
The outdoor swimming pool, solarium and relaxation area are available to our guests for their exclusive use.
For companies interested in holding meetings in a place other than the office, a fully equipped meeting room is offered, with the possibility of holding lunches, coffee breaks and aperitifs.
Activities and surrounding
The nature that surrounds us gives us the opportunity to offer our guests numerous outdoor activities.
First and foremost, horseback riding lessons in our own riding stables. A riding aimed at total animal welfare, along with that of the rider, where no restrictive elements are used, the horses serenely spend their days in large outdoor paddocks without ever being in stalls, and no competitive activities are carried out.
For those who want to engage in other activities, trekking on marked trails is offered, admiring the beauty of the Rocche and Roerina nature or e-bike rentals for half or full day.
For couples who want a more romantic activity, we recommend the picnic in the woods: a basket full of delicacies with a bottle of our own wine and everything you need to enjoy the moment in our areas set aside for the activity or in the Estate's vineyards.
During the months of June-November the best experience is undoubtedly the search for truffles, together with the trifolao and its dogs you will go in search of the precious treasure of the Langhe and Roero!
A tip for wine enthusiasts: a visit and tasting at Cantine Povero, the family-owned farm winery that has been producing wine for 200 years, Equalitas certified, to date with more than 50 hectares of vineyards always characterized by a strong focus on nature, using only organic and vegan products.
In the winery, you can admire all the production rooms step by step, finishing with atasting of 5 home-madewines accompanied by a board of local salami and cheese.
For lovers of historic centers and shopping we recommend the towns of Alba, Asti, Barbaresco, La Morra, Barolo and many others only 20-40 minutes from the facility.

Wonderful experience, we spent 3 beautiful days at Agriturismo Agrisuite Le Querce del Vareglio the location is good and close to Canale. The rooms were very comfortable, very clean and delightfully arranged,the breakfast abandoning also and varied with many homemade cakes.
