The agriturismo
The Cascina Knec holiday farm is part of the Alta Langa, just 20 minutes from Dogliani and Cortemilia and 30 minutes from Alba, in a strategic position at an altitude of 700 m a.s.l., overlooking the two different valleys: Valle Bormida and Valle Belbo.
The farmhouse is surrounded by 5000 square meters of hazelnut and orchard (in fact you will find pears, apples, cherries, walnuts, persimmons and figs) and where you can enjoy the scents and tranquility of these soft hills.
The accommodation
Inside a traditional farmhouse closed to the courtyard, we offer you 3 studios with a fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator, coffee maker, herbal tea, etc..) overlooking a single sunny terrace and furnished with tables and chairs among the scents of herbs. All units have a private bathroom, complete with hair dryer and courtesy set (toothbrush, soap and hand cream, shower bags-shampoo, slippers in tnt) and also bed linen (such as sheets pillowcases, duvets, etc..) that will be changed at the end of the week of stay. The lodgings, rather large, have parquet floors, are very bright and overlook on the one hand the internal garden, equipped with chairs, tables and umbrellas and on the other hand you are immersed in the fresh green of the hazelnut groves. Our guests will have free wifi access as well as books of various kinds to relax in a family environment and quiet, and also a barbecue that will be managed personally on board the bio lake.
Activities and surrounding
Among the wildest hills of the upper Langa Piemontese, among the IGP hazelnuts, but close to the noble lands of Barolo and Barbaresco and the great wineries producing Dolcetto di Dogliani DOCG.
They can buy our fresh or prepared agricultural products such as jams, sweet and savory preserves, oil and more directly on the farm. For the more sporty there is the possibility of excursions by mountain bike (not on site) with a master bikers, upon prior booking. Even your inseparable animal friend will be welcomed with a welcome basket containing a "mat" and 2 bowls.
