The agriturismo
Locanda Cà del Pian is a small family farm established 20 years ago. It began with a goat farm, then consolidated with the hosting of the agriturismo and the Locanda and a cattle farm including certified Aberdeen Angus.
The facility is located in the small village of Villanova Mondovì, where guests find themselves immersed in the peace and silence of nature, with the possibility of biking and hiking on marked nature trails.
At guests' disposal, swimming pool and wellness area for totally relaxing stays.
The accommodation
A 360-degree landscape can be admired from the farmhouse, with the Alps as a backdrop, from Mondolé, Bisalta, and Monviso to Mount Cervino and, on clear days, Mount Rosa.
The property's three rooms are inspired by the breathtaking landscape that surrounds it: Bisalta, Monviso and Turra-the three peaks that can be seen from the rooms-have been restored with reclaimed materials that transform them into warm, cozy rooms reminiscent of traditional mountain lodges.
La Bisalta , a Standard Suite type room, with a view that focuses on Punta Besimauda-the Bisalta-and the Cuneo valleys.
La Monviso , a Deluxe Suite type room, with a view that embraces the mountains from Monviso and the valleys of Turin
La Turra, Family Suite type room, whose view is all of our valleys: from the Mondolé, to the Ellero Valley.
Breakfast, available for room guests, is based on our own products and those of local farms.
We sanitize all apartments and rooms following the guidelines of the decree for COVID-19, before the 'arrival of new guests.
Outside, available to guests, there are relaxation areas to enjoy the peace of nature, a seasonal swimming pool, an outdoor wellness area, and a park containing the Garden of Scents and Colors to return to the beauty of Nature as a vacation detox from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Activities and surrounding
The facility has a solarium, available for guests to experience total relaxation.
For those who want to become farmers for a day, however, can try their hand at tending the garden and harvesting vegetables to take home, as well as caring for the animals.
Upon request, the possibility of cooking traditional tajarin and growing and caring for garden vegetables is offered! All this is done to let guests breathe in a bit of country life.
Light Lunch menu and dinner are also offered in the Locanda's restaurant. The cuisine is typical Piedmontese, with dishes that reflect history and seasonality in a way that respects the timing of nature.
Twenty kilometers from the property is the Langhe, a UNESCO heritage site since 2014. Out-of-town trips can be arranged to visit this splendid heritage that offers breathtaking landscapes and excellent wines!
At 15 km you should visit the Sanctuary of Vicoforte, with Europe's largest elliptical dome that houses the remains of King Victor Emmanuel III of Savoy and his consort Elena.
Just 2 km away is the Grotta dei Dossi, Italy's most colorful underground labyrinth.
Possibility of organizing trekking activities and mountain bike and e-bike routes in the Monregalese mountains and valleys (Valle Ellero, Valle Pesio, Comprensorio del Mondolè).
Possibility of reaching the main ski resorts (downhill and cross-country) such as Prato Nevoso, Artesina, Lurisia, Entracque.

Very nicely furnished rooms. Only no air conditioning in the 5 bed room. Very well maintained facility. Super tasty food. Far up the mountain which gives a super view, but longer drive to activities in area. Daughter speaks super English and has great tips for restaurants, excurs...
