The agriturismo
The family-run Pira Pinta farmhouse offers simple and comfortable accommodations with all the amenities for a totally relaxing osday.
Situated within thefarm, guests will have the opportunity to touch and see firsthand the work of the shepherd and enjoy meats, cold cuts and cheeses produced on site.
The accommodation
The facility offers its guests accommodations immersed in the green countryside.
Surrounding the farmhouse, a few hundred meters away, one is immersed in the farm, where one can admire the animals up close, witness throughout the day the various stages of work, such as milking and milk processing.
Younger guests are treated to a hands-on experience with ponies and donkeys.
In the evening, upon reservation, there is the opportunity to taste the products derived from the raw materials processed on the farm (meats, cold cuts, cheeses), accompanied by a good glass of Cannonau, a typical wine of the area.
Activities and surrounding
Near the property, you can admire some well-known nuragic plexuses in the area, such as the Sa Ena e Tomes tomb of the giants, which is about 3/4 km away, or the nuragic village of Serra Orrios, also a couple of km away.
In about 15 to 20 minutes, you can reach the famous beaches of the Gulf of Orosei.
The Pira Pinta agriturismo is an excellent starting point to reach even the more inland areas , such as Orgosolo, where you can admire the famous murals, or Mammoiada.
Excellent location for motorcycle tours, or as a starting point for the various excursions and treks that the area offers, for example the Archaeological Area of Mount Tiscali and the Gorroppu Gorge.
