The agriturismo
The agriturismo is located 10 km from the sea and 20 km from the unspoilt Barbagia mountains, located in a scenic lookout on the Gollei and Muru plateau, at the foot of Mount Tuttavista.
For those who want to discover the tastes and smells of Sardinia, including myrtles, mastic trees and age-old olive trees, herbs, Cannonau wine, oil and seasonal fruit and vegetables.
The accommodation
The agriturismo has 4 bungalows, each measuring about 40 m², with entrance hall, living room with sofa bed, bathroom, and bright, spacious bedroom, ideal for couples with one child, and 4 self-contained apartments in a single building: two measuring 20 m² and two measuring 55 m², consisting of two adjoining rooms and one bathroom, ideal for families with 2-3 children.
The décor is simple Sardinian style as are all the buildings, very bright and cool in summer and warm in winter, with wooden roof and chimney. Whitewashed only, they are environmentally friendly. All the accommodation features air conditioning.
Activities and surrounding
Artistic and cultural itineraries in the Grazia Deledda literary park, located in the middle of the town of Galtellì. The locations, characters and emotions narrated by the writer that the natural landscape inspires can be recognised here. The shrines, the ancient settings and the emotional involvement of the people have remained largely intact.
The old Sa Domo e Marras manor house has been transformed into the Ethnography Museum, housing testimonies of rural life, the agro-pastoral world and craft culture.
Sardinia’s most beautiful beaches are just a few km away: Cala Luna and Cala Mariolu in the Gulf of Orosei.
