The agriturismo
This family run agriturismo is located in the countryside near the San Vero Milis marina, in the province of Oristano, known for its white coastline and popular with surfers, kite surfers and windsurfers.
On its three hectare estate, the farm cultivates 700 olive trees, with an additional 20 hectares filled with vines and fruit trees, vegetables, cereals and woodland.
The accommodation
Guest accommodation is provided in 6 twin rooms, all stylishly furnished with private bathrooms.
The rooms boast fridges, air conditioning and mosquito nets on the windows. Each room has its own veranda with two armchairs and a table, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful scents of the garden. All guests receive keys to the house, to allow you to come and go as you please.
You’ll find private enclosed parking and an exhibition of Sardinian crafts too. All food is prepared using the farm’s own ingredients, from breakfasts of fresh flans and homemade biscotti, to lunches and dinners of traditional Sardinian dishes (cured meats, vegetable frittatas, seafood antipasti, first courses of fresh pasta with meat ragùs or fish, second courses of roast pork, lamb boiled alone or “in cappotto” (with potatoes and onions), grilled meats, all accompanied by excellent wines such as Vernaccia. To finish, almond cake, fresh tarts, “seadas” fritters and homemade liqueurs.
Activities and surrounding
On the Sinis Peninsula, you can enjoy nature excursions to Peschiera and the Cabras marshland, to the Is Arutas marshland and beach, the Seu Communal Park and Capo San Marco. You can hire bicycles, dinghies and diving equipment as well as taking a boat trip to the Isola Mal di Ventre Protected Marine Area. There are surfing, wind-surfing and kite-surfing lessons, standard and open water diving lessons available, snorkelling, marine biology classes, archeo diving, advanced rescue and diving guides.
Visit Tharros and the Cabras museum; the San Giovanni Tower and the necropolises. Take a horseback excursion with lessons for all abilities, enjoy tasting sessions and artisan workshop tours.
