The agriturismo
The Lu Branu farmhouse will welcome you in a green oasis, among imposing granite and a few kilometers from the sea. Our farm is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy the most authentic Sardinia, between nature, animals and many activities that promote local culture. All just a few kilometers from the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Smeralda! Our family carries on the traditions of their ancestors who have lived in these lands for 200 years, strictly respecting the natural environment, promoting sustainability and respect for animal welfare.
The accommodation
Lu Branu offers 4 double/twin rooms and 7 apartments. All our clients do have a double bed or two single beds, a private bathroom with shower, TV, fridge, equipped terrace or balcony at their disposal.
We supply you with bedroom and bathroom linen, hairdryer and an additional bed or cradle on request.
Furthermore, our apartments have a kitchenette (equipped with dishes, cookwares, dish soap) and some have a second bedroom with 2 twin beds.
Our restaurant, in the middle of our farm’s green, can accommodate about 200 people between inside room and veranda.
The first one is decorated with everyday-use objects and work tools that belonged to our ancestors. In the second one, our guests can enjoy an appetizer while getting ready for dinner.
All our dishes are prepared in our kitchen, except of the ‘porcetto’ and grilled sausage: These are cooked in a big fireplace which our guests have access to – this way you can live our tradition even before having tasted our food.
Close to the restaurant, our youngest guests can have fun in a small playground and have a little walk to visit our animals: wildboars, donkeys, peacocks, chickens, goats, ducks and rabbits.

Not far from our farm our guests can find opportunities for sport, cultural exploration, shopping and relaxing.

Archaeology and history: ‘nuraghe’ (ancient fortresses and living places), giant tombs, necropolis, the fortress ‘altura’ at Palau
Nature: our ‘sphinx’-rock, the Bear rock at Palau, La Maddalena archipelago (e.g. by boat trips), lake Liscia (Sant’ Antonio di Gallura), thousand-years-old olive trees (Luras)
Museums: our ‘stazzo’-museum (traditional Sardinian farm), Garibaldi museum (Caprera Island), ethnographic ‘Galluras’ museum with ‘Accabbadora’-section (Luras), ‘Labenur’ and old train station museum (Arzachena), Cork museum (Calangianus)
Typical villages of Gallura, summer festivals and markets;
